Here is the Evolator (Evolution Elevator), a six-minute simulated time travel elevator ride through millions of years of New Mexico's geological history.

Pretty nice. They did a good job with the doors making it look like an elevator. Your camera seems like it had a hard time focusing at times. I am sure glad that they talked in terms of meters (metric), that is especially rare since it it not near an international border. I wonder who did the voiceover.

now does this exhibit move or vibrate at all? or is it all visual?

***** The floor moved waaaay back when it first opened. It'd shake when the elevator started moving or jolt when the dinosaurs smacked the camera as you see in the video. Which was the coolest thing ever for a 10-year-old me. The windows to the sides of the main monitor also scrolled some rocks past too, which made it feel a little bit like you were moving. Going back a few years later though, ugh. Literally nothing was working except for the monitors. Even the blinky lights on the control panel were shut off. Guess it hasn't gotten much better.

Me too. Due to the pandemic, it's closed until further notice. (Not the museum, but just the exhibit.)

@Alejandro Godinez Yeah. I heard that it needed repairs or something. I didn't know it can do that. Like, broken down.

i don't think that is an elevator at all!!, just an exhibit that might take you up and down!!!, BTW, do they have any real elevator here?

The exhibit is like an elevator taking people through different time periods millions of years before our time. But the museum has two elevators; I filmed them, but the videos are going live a little bit later.

The evolator does actually move nowadays. But only slightly, if you want to feel it move sit down on the floor or the bench inside the ride. But if you want more movement, try vibrating yourself. (P.s even though I'm a Christian and don't hold with evolution I still like the ride and the museum)

That last part is exexactly what i was thinkin :P I went to a summer camp type thing at the museum and that was a favourite along with the lava tubes!
