The owner has since sold this car and has moved to build power on the new 2015 Ford Mustang Ecoboost turbocharged 4 Cylinder. Should he have kept the v8? Keep in mind the ecoboost makes the same power as the v8 did stock and has head room for way more.

the 05-09 has a very unique sound. its like a mix of the new 5.0 buts still has some of that rasp of the 99-04 2v. Very nice !!

@@calculator5909 it's how they baffle them. Specific exhaust systems have different sounds on everything but most mustang systems are made to have a certain note.

Now he drives a white 2015 Eco boost 4cyl turbo mustang. With black forgestar wheels on it lol. None of my current buddies have v8 stands anymore :( but my closest buddy wants to get a gt500 soon so maybe lol

Highway trips are not a problem at all when im at 100-120km (60-70ishmph) even with the 3.73 gears, 0 drone which was really weird but great... Its only when youre cruising at like street speeds is when it drones like crazy, which i couldnt handle when i was coming home from a tired day at work/school at like 11pm

Its a g35 coupe but same engine, it has Catback Exhaust, test pipes, lightweight flywheel, stage 1 clutch, intake, plenum spacer, never throttle body and uprev tune

3.5 inch straight pipe would kill your hp. it would be loud as hell, but kill low end power like crazy. i wouldnt use anything bigger than a 2.5 inch pipe.

My friend has a 06 350z with shorty headers, cats removed and a flow master( not really sure which one he has on) but his car sounds amazing! Sounds so much better than the fart cannons and that's cause I don't like the way sixxers sound.

I don't think he should have... I'm pretty sure this 3v "feels" faster too, though I can be wrong. Not bashing the Ecoboost, or anything, but the sound of a v8 is really the only thing that matters hahaha. That's the only reason I have not gotten rid of my slow 2v. The sound, there is really nothing like it... (except the 4v dohc motors)

The V8 is definitely the better car. I currently have a 3V and would never downsize. If I wanted a turbocharged four cylinder, I’d go for a Focus RS or a WRX STI

+zorric aim for the coyotee 5.0 motor the 4.6 is pretty bad with all the mods listed he was barely pulling on my G lol.. The 5.0 I think came in 2011

Still I would have kept the V8, the EcoBoost will never sound like that! But some people like speed more than a loud Mustang. I would've never sell the GT for a 4 cyl.

a v8 has much more room for power, the ecoboost engines have minimal add ons for power except a tuner, a v8 makes that power already, and u can add twin turbos or supercharger to it and leave the 4 cyl tt in the dust

What 4 cylinder TT are Yu referring to. I would recommend doing some research on what the tuning capabilities are of almost any boosted engine. The Eco boost mustang is actually capable of over 500whp. All these boosted cars make stupid power from simple breather mods plus a tune

Meh, the 4.6's are dated now. I had a 2005, and now a 2011 5.0 and the 5.0 is a huge difference, I was shocked when I first drove it. Mind you it was fully modded and tuned when I bought it. Still , the 5.0 is where it's at.

+Bitemehard Hard I would but I'm way to lazy to do research right now for which I've already done in the past.. If you do a simple google search you will see that it has forged internals which are capable of holding well over 500whp.. Just a downpipes and tune alone there are massive gains. There is a company that's pushing the motor with a bigger turbo just to see what makes it pop.. Its kinda something like Americans Mitsubishi evo lol
