I am sick and tired of that Chris. They should have got rid of him early on. Unfortunately this great series has lost some tension knowing there is a ship just 3kms away. When I was young a million years ago I sailed in a beautiful wooden schooner for 2 weeks. We went through some horrendous weather and there was no ship to save us if the need arose.

Greetings. This is seamen in high class, RESPEKT. l my self is an seaman for years, sailing the north sea and english Channel, so i know.. the captain is absolutely one of the best, the crew is MEN of top class. This is sooooo hard what they are doing, really tuf stuff. Im in honor for them. Greetings from Denmark 🇩🇰

Chris was charged with abusing his girlfriend not long after this show aired back in 2017. Unsure what happened to him following that. He was clearly put onto the show as the casting team knew he would cause drama. If the crew got along the entire time, they wouldn't have much of a show. Shame, really, he is just one of those people who can't function in a team environment. Certainly hope he never gets a managerial position.

I can see in Chris so many things that is part of Liverpool culture, of course they are all not like that i should know i am a scouser myself, but i do think just the way we talk is often misread by those outside of the city some say it is the Irish in us that makes us prickly and outspoken oft times when it is not required and inflames situations.

“Am I Fletcher Christian here” Er, No not even close. F.C was a disciplined Royal Navy officer. He may have ended his career as a mutineer but let’s not pretend he wouldn’t have been appalled at that behaviour too.

Chris was definitely used as a scapegoat for their frustrations. I feel sorry for him in this episode. He did advise to gybe correctly and got shut down like a child and then Ant looks like the hero waking the crew and saying they need to gybe... If he's on watch, wake him up then. Don't sit there moaning about it behind his back (guy is also fighting a serious infection in the leg which is tiring when in the best of conditions) And then the complete hypocrisy saying he goes on about things when literally all Ant does is fricking moan and bitch... Ant dropped a coconut over the edge... That could have been life or death in the real world! I know it's most likely manufactured for the show and I feel like Chris was a willing participant (role: Be difficult) but if it's actually organic, it's up to the captain to control their emotion, not show favouritism and certainly not stir up animosity by constantly belittling someone.
