Ingredients اجزاء
Basmati rice 1kg
باسمتی چاول 1 کلو
Mutton 1 kg
بکرے کا گوشت 1 کلو
Clarified butter (Desi ghee) 1 cup
دِسی گھی 1 کپ
Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
سابت دھنیا 2 ٹیبل سپون
Fennel Seed (Soonf) 2 tbsp
سونف 2 ٹیبل سپون
Cinnamon stick (Dar Chini) 2 pcs
دارچینی کے ٹکڑے 2 عدد
Black cardamom 2 pcs
بڑی الائچی 2 عدد
Green cardamom 6 pcs
سبز الائچی 6 عدد
Cloves (Laung) 10 pcs
لونگیں 10 عدد
Whole black pepper 2 tsp
ثابت کالی مرچیں 2 ٹی سپون
2 bay leaves (Tez Patta)
تیج پات 2 عدد
Black Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
شاہی کالا زیرہ 1 ٹی سپون
White cumin 1 tsp
سفید زیرہ 1 ٹی سپون
Mace and nutmeg powder ½ tsp
جائفل جاوتری کا پائوڈر ½ ٹی سپون
Kewra water 2 tbsp
کیوڑہ واٹر 2 ٹیبل سپون
Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
ادرک لہسن 2 ٹیبل سپون
Crushed green chillies 1 tbsp
پیسی ہوئی ہری مرچیں 1 ٹیبل سپون
3 green chillies
ہری مرچیں 3 عدد
Yogurt 1 cup
دہی 1 کپ
3 onions
پیاز 3 عدد
1 piece of ginger
ادرک کا 1 ٹکڑا
Whole garlic 1 pcs
لہسن کی پوٹھی 1 عدد
Salt to taste

Every Eid my mother would make this style of Yakhni pulao, she passed away from cancer a few years ago and this is the closest recipe I have found to recreate her food and memory for my own children. May Allah SWT bless you for sharing and posting this recipe ameen ❤
