Well it's information. I will start with that. Muzzy / Ferradyne would not send me any of the bows I returned last year. Why I do not know for sure but I might guess that sunshine was not the first choice in re-releasing this bow. Right out of the box ,Limb Bolts badly damaged and need to be replaced. String and cables still to short. Lower limb pocket did not aligned to the riser preventing the limb from being tighten down. Riser damaged under limb pockets and limb pockets damaged. Lower part of the riser doesn't allow the limb pocket to move completely. The WindStalker cables guard works but is not a fix that most will find aviable. I am planning on posting new video with a FIXED ROLLER CABLE GUARD and new String / Cables lengths that will be easier to replicate. Bought my girlfriend one of these bows a while back. Have you ever seen a bow stay at full draw even when released from the fingers? Absolutely freaky, I messed with it and couldn’t figure the problem out. She now owns an osprey. Found this video due to wanting to send it back to muzzy

Yes in that design it can happen . Not easy to deal with when it happens either . Please be careful

My cousin warned me about this bow being trash and I'm glade I listened to him. I'm going to buy me an osprey next year lol

There are so many advantages to using a camed lever bow. You might want to dig a little deeper for a G-Rex

Wow thanks for this video! I was almost going to buy one BUT my experiences with FeraDyne's other products made me dig in and really research. It seems anything that FeraDyne buys out, goes to garbage. Muzzy used to be decent quality but when they sold out, I knew it would probably change. Thanks again for the video! My search for a lever style bow fishing bow continues.

Most cooperation's are solely about profits only. Some are worse than others. G-Rex bow are very expensive BUTTTTT they are worth every dime. Seriously I own 2 G-rex bows and sell G-Rex bows . I own over 13 bowfishing bows . Runner up is the Oneida Osprey and in the compound world the old PSE Discovery 2 or the Cajun Sucker Punch are very good choices.

A man can be judge by how much Truth he can withstand is what one philosopher said. This is a attempt to produce something that has a proven track history of performance that went terribly many times / decisions made. I would bet that people who fleshed this project out do not bowfish.

Several years ago I had to sell my tricked out Onieda bowfishing bow. I absolutely loved that bow but medical bills had to come first. Things have only gotten worse and there's no way I can afford another (the Osprey is beautiful) so I was hoping to save up and try and buy one of these. I've been doing a lot of research on the LVX and the reviews are very disappointing. The biggest issue being the cables basically destroying themselves just from shooting as well as stuck limb bolts (no lube) and overall poor quality. I really hoped this bow was going to be an option but just affording this bow would take me awhile so having to spend even more money to make work reliably is a deal killer for me. I want to thank you for taking the time to make these videos. While disappointed that I won't be getting one of these after all, I very much appreciated you taking the time to show all the problems I've been reading about from people who have already purchased one. I don't have much money so wasting it on bad equipment is something I can't afford to do. Your video really helped me make my decision not to pursue this bow. I'm been a big fan of Oneida and Muzzy, they make great gear, so I'm really surprised that they are ok with having their names associated with such a poorly designed and built product.

Welcome. I love learning all that I can through the experience I have on the water and talking to people about there experiences. For me personally I learn more from stuff like this and how to best use that to have a better time out on the water.

I was looking at this bow in orange but after this video I think I will buy the PSE Suckerpunch instead!

I believe it is the Bear / Cajun Sucker Punch {I own one} and YES it is a significantly better choice than the Muzzy bow.

Did your outboards seem twisted and canted? This is my second bow they've sent me and nothing seems lined up. Is there anything that can be done about this? Thanks

Yes that is why I ended up building a new sets of strings & cable that were longer & increasing the leverage to the left side of the bow to balance it out better. There should be my string specs posted here . 43-1/4" string and 28-1/2" cables Vapor Trail the specs as a special order has them avavibvle as the Fraken Muzzy or something liker that.
