RM said in an interview that he was a doorman in this bc when he was younger there was a time he wanted to be one. Apparently whenever him and his mom went to Seoul they would pass by this fancy apartment building and the doorman there was always nice to him when they'd pass by and thats why. V is a detective and his outfit is based off the anime Detective Conan.

I love how now in korea people like celebs or just people in general are appreciating bts old videos and getting to know messages they tried putting out since debut. Now that they are globally famous and representing their own country, they say how kind and humble they are when back then they use to doubt on them and say they wouldn't go far because they came from a small company. I'm just shaking my head and being proud at the same time. I'm not saying all people, but most people, and mostly famous ones. I think they wore the costumes of real jobs as a symbol of what hard work and perseverance can do for a person. With patience and a steadfast belief in a positive outcome along with all that hard work, it's not hard to believe in success. Not only would they be talking about themselves but pretty much anyone and those costumes serve as an example.Also Littering a millennial-oriented message about societal woes throughout their discography, the group manages to frequently reference the struggles that young people go through and draw on their own experiences within South Korean youth culture. 🙂✨
