There are three "storyline" in the mv: - Kihyun/Jooheon: they were in the car togheder in 2015 then Jooheon dropped Kihyun on the street (it wasn't I.M haha) and right after the accident happened. Hyungwon gave the watch to Kihyun two years later and he tried to prevent the accident but he was always too late, so when he saw Hyungwon again on the streets he decided to take Jooheon place since he couldn't save him because the accident have to happen anyway. So in the end its Jooheon to sit in the pawnshop instead of Kihyun (little trivia, the car crash is not computer generated, they actually filmed it thanks to a machine that rotated the car while Jooheon was in it, then they filmed the real life destruction of a car!); - Minhyuk/I.M: they are brothers/childhood friends that got separated, and Hyungwon decide to give the watch to Minhyuk after seeing him working hard at the cafe to give him the opportunity to travel back and see I.M again. But since time travel is illegal they got found by the agents and they are again separated because when the agent shoot they let go each other hands, so I.M remain in 2015 and Minhyuk go back alone to 2017 with the watch broken, unable to come back. I think he gave the watch back to Hyungwon to fix it; - Shownu/Wonho: Wonho is a time traveler that go back and forth from 2047 to practice Kumdo with Shownu, so they are friends. But in the end, Wonho get caught by the same agents that chased Minhyuk/I.M and they take his watch, so he have to remain in 2047 and Shownu is left alone, waiting for him; And then there's Hyungwon: he's the time traveler that gave the watches to everyone, and he can control time (if you pay attention, in the scene with him under the rain it's raining backwards). He can craft/repair the watches and I think he gave them to the monstas to help them/test them and see what they would do to fix their past. To better understand the MV and Hyungwon, you really have to see Find You mv because it's a prequel and explain a lot of things!

If you go to the very beginning and listen carefully you'll hear an announcement that warns people that time travel is forbidden that's why the agents are going after them for using the watches.

Other monbebes probably had mentioned this to you guys before but just a reminder/FYI, DRAMARAMA is the 1st MV with this whole time travelling concept. All the other MVs following this song are related to time. So you'll see watches, hourglass etc. in all of these MVs. But, the theory that most of us has agreed on is that even though DRAMARAMA is the 1st MV released with time travel theme, FIND YOU which was released 2 years later (sadly the last comeback with Wonho) is actually the prequel. It shows us how did Hyungwon got the watch in the first place and why they all start travelling between the past and future. **edit** Andy at 10:43 you were right. But you guys got to watch FIND YOU to know and understand it more. It was HYungwon who game them the watch maybe to test them what they would do to fix things in the past. But the lesson is that everything is destined and no one can change the fate.

My theory is Wonho is going into the past to meet up with Shownu. But gets caught by the men in black. With I.M and Minhyuk, they are either brothers or friends that grew up together, hence the children, but something happened between them and Minhyuk is going into the past to bring IM into the present. With Kihyun, he’s trying to save Jooheon but each time he keeps failing until Hyungwon shows up and Kihyun pleads with him to help him but gets the ultimatum to switch places with Joo instead because the accident has to happen regardless. Hopefully that helps a bit.

“For this MV” what I can tell you guys are … -the 3 units (KYxJH, MHxI.M, WHxSN) got their own story -the only one who expert on using the watch is HW aka he is the time traveler -the reason why HW makes couple of the watch (there’s a scene showing that someone working on the watch), and gave it to others? “Find You” ‘d help 😉✨ Edit: My theory is after the chaos of the whole timeline was over, they all become time travers in “Kiss or Death”

Usually in time travel stories, you can change the past but saving a life that was meant to be lost is something too big. So I think in here, Kihyun wanted to use the watch to save Jooheon's life and I think Hyungwon came by to tell Kihyun that the only way to save a life is if you give up your own instead. So that's why he replaced him

Fun fact: jooheon were really inside the car while spinning in the air.

But if you ask monsta x about this time travel concept, they also said they don't know lol 😹 they did just what director told them to n they had to ask them to the director itself lol.

You should watch the film for The connect (destroyer) and find you MV to further understand? Or I mean theorize what is happening. You can also here a voice in the beginning that it is a caution to not receive any watch from a man (before the music start it is in the background) (It is my first time hearing such theory about the switching place after alternating the past for ki and joo since most monbebe including myself thinks it is just that you really can not fully change the past so Kihyun just choose to be on the accident instead of joo but who know)

My jaw literally drop when Jooheon was the one in the repair shop and kihyun is the one in the car now. I felt bad for both of them. And poor shownu who kept waiting for his friend not knowing he will never comeback again. And for minhyuk and IM, It's kinda sad they got separated considering how close they are

the first time I watched this MV I was really confused, but I tried to understand a little bit because at that time we didn't have Find You MV, that brings the begining of this story. But for me Hyungwon is the main time traveler, he gives the watch to the members, Kihyun wants to save Jooheon, but as always if you're going to mess with a timeline that someones dies, another one has to die in his place, and that's why he changed places with Joo. In case of Wonho, he's from the future but comes back in time to always meet with shownu (friendship goals) and Minhyuk + I.M they're friends since kids and this is the way they find to get back together I think. it was the only thing I could think about it when I watched for the first time. My theory is in 'Find You' Hyungwon acquires the watch and gets trapped in time and through that we see different stories of MX and the members I.e Dramarama, All In, Follow, Fantasia, Fighter, Kiss or Death and in the Destroyer film they try to find Hyungwon from the Find You timeline 🤷‍♀️ I don't know if this makes any sense.

If you listen closely at the very start of this MV with wonho in the future you can hear a female voice saying “Time wrap is not allowed! Do not take any watches from CHW” and CHW is Chae Hyungwon! So yes hyungwon is the one giving them the watches,, My theory for kihyun and jooheon is that you cannot save a life without giving back a life,, kihyun made the choice to save his friend jooheon at the expense of his own life, that’s what i believe at least!

Other MVs in this continuum are Destroyer and Find You! My theory here is that everyone just wants to reunite with the other, but the only way to do so is to travel through time, which is illegal. Wonho travels to Shownu so they can practice together and Minhyuk tries to find his missing brother (the flashbacks to them as kids made it seem like they're brothers). Unfortunately for these pairs, the agents came after them and sent them back to their right time(line?) then took their watches. As for Kihyun and Jooheon, their reunion would be more complicated since I think Jooheon died in that timeline. Aaand, since death is "final," Kihyun can't change that anymore, since it would be cheating Death himself. So instead, Hyungwon rewinds time for Kihyun and lets him take Jooheon's place so that Jooheon lives, but Kihyun satisfies Death's demand.

This storyline definitely contained -time traveling -different dimensions -their fate connected - hyungwon has some power -wonho has something related to this power or know something about it -the seven deadly sins - they are stuck in their fate

Jooheon dropped off Kihyun not I.M & then the car crashed killing Jooheon, so that is why Kihyun kept trying to change time. In the end he succeeded & took Jooehoon's place in the car.

Yes, Find You is next! It is basically Hyungwons origin story. Also everyone is mentioning the voice on the beginning, it says “Time warp is not allowed. Do not take any watches from CHW” (= Chae HyungWon) and look at what is written on the newspaper in the first scene 👀 (MX often uses newspaper for hints, just saying) Lastly I think the connection to Kiss or Death can be made by watching Destroyer “[Music film] Monsta X_ The Connect: D” and “Fantasia X Film”

You guys should also watch the "The Connect" Music Film. It would help you understand the whole plot better since it links everything. It was released during the Jealousy era, which was their next release after Dramarama. Of course, their next mvs were related (at least, in some way they are.) But the music film would allow you understand their concept of time travelling - in short they travelled a lot of times, and for a lot of different reasons. But for the The Connect, there was only one reason for their time travelling, which you guys would understand after watching the music film. Btw, I love your reaction videos! Keep it up!!
