Honestly the saddest part about it is that everyone knows how popular they would’ve been and how they’d be one of the top groups if they didn’t disband. I wasn’t that into pristin when they debuted, loveddd this song but didn’t really follow them much, though I slowly grew into them. I knew they had SO much potential from the start and sometimes out of nowhere “weewoo weewoooe” pops into my head and I think about this debut and get sad knowing that the group didn’t really go anyway 🥲

Honestly they had no other choice. No activities = no income. Idols don't get paid a minimum base income. Without any scheduled activities, they literally make no money.

@@gierer797 it has created an opportunity for many groups/ trainees. but their way to handle post-disbandment suck. it just feel like the original group is manufactured and disband for creating a whole new thing, which don’t really work because fans has been attached to the first group, and exclusive fans of the news groups want to erase the fact that some members has been previously part of xxx temporary group, which divise the fandom and make that kinda hard to stan. at least in ioi case, post-iz*one groups didn’t face the same problem cause ioi has been the rats lab for their redebut so their career is safe. they handle it better now that in ioi era. ioi needed to be permanent, they was just waisted in so many ways. post-ioi groups would had a most peaceful career without already known members on them. ioi and these others groups could have co-exist, but this is not produce101 goal. which is to make as much money as possible for the companies with trainees who had win the competition, they don’t care about the actual career of their group and the girls
