Lucas Peng // pledis isn’t stupid they did the right thing by disbanding the group. Pledis didn’t have any money to promote them.. if they continued pledis would go into dept and take everyone’s money well more of their money. She can redebut.. it isn’t hard. Especially since she’s trained for long and already have the whole package.

Well Pledis didn't threw them away though it's just that there are members who can't continue their journey as part of PRISTIN because of some personal reasons (some members wanted to leave the group) so in my perspective, that's exactly one of the best solution (let the group disband) cause PRISTIN will never be PRISTIN if they're not complete. (Only in my opinion guyssss)

pristin had the potential to be one of- if not the- most successful groups out of produce, they had the visuals, the talent, the charisma- hell, they had two previous ioi members- and the whole community was cheering for them, except their own company and it sucks. pledis is easily one of the worst companies- not only for their mistreatment of artists but they genuinely don’t know how to manage them; they know how to make them but they don’t know how to keep them.

That's just one of the sad realities of any entertainment market. If you look at the numbers, although Pristin was seemingly popular (and they were to an extent in Korea, but of course much more so internationally) they couldn't compare to the many other groups out there in the saturated market at time. Add to the limited funds of Pledis and you've got a recipe for disaster. They were planning on the group blowing up right after IOI, and that simply didn't happen. Add to that the scandals, rumors, and numerous other issues within the company, and a group full of talent and potential literally went down in flames. It's sad, but this is the reality of the entertainment industry, ESPECIALLY the K-pop industry that is completely oversaturated. I feel badly for all of them, especially those who trained quite literally since adolescence.

No one in kpop has EVER TEEN-crushed like this song has . A hot girls' power anthem coded with a sweet rhythm and funky catchy electric beat and an awesome slow bridge then a sudden anti-drop like false chorus and then the ending party chorus , UGH a signature of kpop. the visuals are also so tumblr-esque and it's so cool.
