Isn't this the most wonderful sight anyone has ever seen. i have waited for 70 years to see one and right now all i have to do is go outside my own door. I'm out taking videos every night. entertainment for free and nature at it's very best. i live in the middle of a village and all a lot of the neighbors can do is whinge about them messing everywhere. @@AnneAndersonFoxiepaws I live in the rural country and have seen starlings murmurate, even the tiny swarm in a neighbor's tree who do their exercises each evening, come to my bird feeders and then fly formations back into their tree home. Loud little things, though - they don't shut up all day, haha! I see these things and take joy in them. You take joy in putting people down online, people you don't even know, and make them feel bad about a positve comment they left on a YT channel? That's sad. I hope you resolve whatever problem you have.

Great video! It shows the essence of life on earth, namely free individuals enjoying voluntary cooperation to achieve a higher purpose than they could have achieved on their own, without the need for a leader or controlling power, such as a god or a government. Our billions of body cells cooperate in the same way to form a unique individual identity that is able to make independent decisions and enjoy life. We should learn from this and organize our society accordingly.

I live in Sothern Mass. 30 minutes between Providence, RI and Worcester, MA. On top of a hill in the a rare spot of town with a good amount of old pine/oak trees. So we see a lot of migrating birds come by that use the trees to warm up in the morning. Anyway we get flocks and flocks of Starlings this time of year. My dogs always lose it hearing them chirping away and fly from tree to tree. When they finally take off. Usually right after sunrise we have a giant black cloud over the house for a few seconds as they head east. One of my favorite things I get to experience every year. Then in early January to May we get Pileated woodpeckers!

Difficult to say. They usually do this in the evening just before they settle for the night. It could be that there was a raptor in the area like a sparrow hawk or a peregrine falcon and the moved to another location.

@@MarcoValkvideos I was in my back garden pottering around when there was a whoosh and then chaotic Flapping of wings. I immediately realised what had just happened and rushed in, grabbed my camera, and took a shot of the Hawk panting pigeonless in a bush with just his head and neck showing. After a short while, he made good an escape with a tether dangling from his foot.
