Seeing you mag-boop reminds me, there is now a mag-boop mod. It needs the Stovepipe mod to function though, so you might want to turn off stovepipe through it's config if you plan on getting it

Get the Magboop mod, it adds a mag-tap feature that adds a sound and simulated not fully inserting mags, its great fun

is there anyway to have the palmed mag keep the position it was grabbed in the first place with better hands? because in this video the palmed mags are not all in the same pos.

I think you should check out the Stovepipe/MagBoop mod. Good mods to help you add a little realism to your weapons (and possibly make reloads cooler).

How do you insert the mags so smoothly? Whenever I do it the mag always collides with the gun

should be a setting that’s like “easy mag reload” or something like that, it disables physics collisions between guns and magazines

How did you locked the bolt open on the empty inspect of iso hemlock without a mag? Is this some kind of a mod?

you can manually lock open the bolt by holding right on the joystick with your trigger hand

Baron, how do you pick mags out in a dynamic position? Like whenever I grab a mag, they are always set to a fixed position and rotation, how do I get rid of that

@@PumpyGT make sure vanilla mag palming is disabled. also youll have to mess around with the config settings for betterhands in r2modman, mainly the rotation values, to get the palmed mag to rotate. for example, if you wanted to replicate the bas-p tactical reload (palmed mag rotated backwards), you would need to set the rotation value to be 90 degrees backwards (-90) should look something like this: {"x":-90.0,"y":0.0,"z":0.0}

rotation should have around 20-30 for the x value and the default value in position should be the default value set to negative

ohhh sorry. the mod should come with it enabled, don’t remember having to do any additional configuration for it to enable iraqi reloading although i could be wrong

Thank you very much! Also how do you tactical reload differently? Like where the magazines face different directions? Like for example the M4, the Magazines were facing different directions, I use Better Hands and I can only tactical reload one way. Is there a specific way to get differently angled reloads like that?@@baronboogey Also I was wondering if possibly, you could list the guns you have used.

@@Spquishy no problem! you can change the palmed magazine's rotation and position through the config editor in r2modman, so as an example, for the m4 i changed the mag rotation to have an x value of 90, which rotates the palmed mag 90 degrees forward. the gun names are timestamped, though those are what they are called in mw2, not their irl names. if you mean list their irl names i could do that as well
