I want to like the Lynch clips more than I do because I know that Casey Lynch is a good guy. However, I am all-in on the MXG clips because of their slightly different design and deeper carry. Thanks for the video!

Thank you for making this comparison. It was very helpful. I went ahead & ordered a MXG for my Para 3.

Don’t own a MXG clip yet. Casey seems to have a greater variety of Spyderco clip sizes and colours. Sprung a Lynch clip on my seat belt and Casey replaced it, shipping included! He was great to deal with.

I have both and they great. I like the wide selection of finishes that Lynch offers. Also, Casey is a super cool dude. He’s very friendly and helpful. The only thing about Lynch though is some of their clips are regularly out of stock.

Great timing -- I was just comparison shopping between these two! I have an MXG and quite like it, but was drawn to the Lynch because of the way it flattens back out after the final ramp. I find that ridge on the MXG to be a slight hot spot on some knives.

I hit Ripps, MXG and Lynch clips with a big torch to flame anodize them. The Lynch and Ripps turned out great. The MXG got a slight warp in it.

Thx for the informative point of view. I have a new Para 3 and I want enough of the knife to grab on to so I'm thinking that the deepest carry is a bit too deep. based on what you have shown us here. I'll opt for the Lynch clip with the thinner metal and the offset of the lanyard hole. Again, thx for showing how the fit on the Para 3. I'm certain the MXG is a quality piece but for my liking I'll try the Lynch for a while to see how it rides. Opinions vary but I'm glad you showed us how they fit

I think the factory Spyderco clips are pretty nice. They slide right in most pockets. No need here to hide my knife with deep carry clips. That being said MXG has some pretty good clips along with Lynch. Who would have thought we would be paying 30+ for clips 😂. Here we are.

Recently had to make this decision watched a few videos and went with blue black and regular MXG clips for my para 2 in s110v blue g10 handle polished blade para 3 in s35vn brown handle stonewashed blade and my para 3 DLT exclusive in cru wear purple g-10 blacked out blade still in the mail but I liked the MXG look a hair better they ride a hair deeper and beefier without being to tight.

Both are really good deep pocket Clips.!

Lynch also has a unconditional warranty. There’s absolutely no information about warranty on mxg gear website.

I get the same wiggle on my Lynch clip that replaced a wire clip on a Sage 5 LW. Thought it was just an isolated thing.

One of my knives is a ZT 452CF. I ordered the MXG Gear Titanium clip and it is high quality and matches perfectly. Totally satisfied. Just waiting on some Teal Anodized Standoffs form xxadrenalinxxx.

Well I bought 2 mxg clips powder blk ti but they came with silver hardware didn't understand that nice clips though just wish the screws were blk also.

I got the mxg gear 2 screw clip. It adds a little flexibility to easily slide on your pocket. The 3 screw are too firm to go on your pocket 1 handed.

That MXG Gear Deep Carry Pocket clip in the Para 3 is for a Para 2. You can tell because it dies not have the offset for the lanyard hole. MXG makes one for a Para 3.it has the offset unlike. The Para 2

I want to try the Lynch milled clips for my Sebenza and Inkosi.

The Lynch clip for the Para 3 is not as deep carry for TIP UP carry because it gives more clearance for the lanyard hole, but if you carry TIP DOWN then the clip does carry as deep as the MXG. A bit of a compromise depending on how you carry your Para 3 and if you like to use a lanyard. I personally use Lynch clips on most of my knives, mainly because I like their "stubby" version of clip and the service has been excellent. Edit:- l just checked and found that l don't use a specific Para 3 clip but l have the standard Lynch Spyderco Stubby clip that fits most new Spyderco knives with the 3 screw clip. I think in your video your Lynch clip is specific to the Para 3 ?

Whats's a good vendor for Civivi after market clips?

I got my Delica 4 for $80 from a pawn shop. I used the $46 I saved to buy an MGX Gear pocket clip. I hate that these things don’t come with deep carry clips from the factory.

The MXG would get my money because they offer the broader clip tip. I am sick to death of small, narrow, pointy, jabby clips that wanna snag and hang instead of slide over your pocket fabric.
