Thank you for sharing your experience. It takes courage to speak to an audience that’s not always kind. You have beautiful bone structure. I’m sorry you spent so much money without getting the results you wanted. A facelift might have given you all you wanted. Those have improved tremendously and last approximately 10 yrs. It’s so hard on us women. Let’s just love ourselves more.

Hello Claudia, personally 8 vials costing 4,800 euros is a lot of money. That said, I do see that the lower part of your face has improved. The accordian lines are not apparent now compared to two years ago. Yes, I agree that there is some thickening of the dermis under the skin there. :)

Just found your channel and find you to be very honest with your reviews ! I also have a similar bone structure and went down the sculptra path with very similar results . I regret spending a ridiculous amount of money for very little results and have now had a lower face lift with amazing results . Over the years I have wasted so much money on procedures and a face-lift is the only way to achieve substantial results .

Dear Claudia, stick with the sculptra. I never comment. But now I do. I saw IMMEDIATELY the improvement. At first glance already! It looks wonderful and certainly a difference. The "bonyness" is gone. Claudia, you are beautiful and my opinion is: it is good as it is! Embrace your beauty, and give yourself peace. About the threads: you don't have sagging skin. Your skin is tight! I don't think you have to do that. And I hopeyou can accept and see that you are beautiful, NOTHING wrong with your looks. And really: Sculptra gave good results because I DO see more fullness and everything is softer (no "shadows") I thank you for this video. Enjoy your beauty and good looks

Sweet Sandra, I am so glad you commented, it was lovely to read your thoughtful comment! I agree with you, there us definitely a difference. And thank you for your very kind words. I do actually like the way I look, and as I said, I don’t normally sit around looking for flaws and imperfections, but instead have learned to look at he whole picture and to live mice what I see. Hi honey! I love the idea of Sculptra...I would love to get some in my temples. Not only did you get some nice results, but perhaps are slowing further collagen loss? So not only have you added collagen, but you have slowed the loss...another bonus. Wish it wasn't SO expensive! As far as threads, one of my favorite Surgeons here on youtube DrAmirKaram says a big no. Mostly because of the expense and potential side effects with results that don't last. But then again he is a plastic surgeon... ♥Love you

Hi Patricia, I am sorry to hear you did not get much improvement either. There is a newer generation sculptra (the name escaped me), but it us the same material, however the molecule is supposed to be better absorbed. She talked to the rep and they said, though while also PLLA, it works better than sculptra I am going to give that one a try and keep you posted

The only thing that seems to work to add volume for me is Voluma but I am trying to get away from filler it can move and get bumpy also it never truly dissolves so I’m a little worried it’s in my face somewhere down deep in my muscle! If you remember the name of the new product please let me know so I can talk to my provider about it! Hi, Claudia, I think you did get a fair result. I am the Mito lover, I used stemcells on my knee called Laennec with the LED which worked amazing. I also had a tear under my eye that I stamped in and was shocked how fast the skin filled in. I am absolutely certain the future of aging is going towards stemcell and exosome therapies. I bought these products from acecosm with great assurance. I have done a great deal of research and I am very happy what has happened to my aging skin as far as thickness improvement and fewer fine lines. I will continue with these treatments for my face and worn out knee. I am trying new biostimularters and this like sculptra will take time. I miss and microneedle as these are at my comfort zone. I also buy profhilo in paris and inject myself which is not a deep injection as you know with only a dozen injections. I find wonderful great results for my dry Nordic skin. It only cost about 100euros and I can continue this as it is easy on the purse. This is what I am able to do and it works for me and do not suggest this for anyone else. I am an American living in dordogne. I have followed you a long time and did write to you when you lived in Italy. Fondest regards, Katherine Garelli

Sweet Katherine, it is so nice to read your thoughtful comment! Thank you. You have me very intrigued with the stem cells. May I ask you what the product is called? I will def. give it a try. I have ordered from acecosm before and like them. I am with you, I do think stem cells are part of the future for sure. I actually had my own stem cells injected in my neck after I broke it. It was super painful, but it def. helped. May I ask you where you get the profhilo in Paris? It is something I am curious about as well. So many fun things :). Thank you for sharing some of them. Hi Claudia, I'm so glad you did this video. I have been learning more about sculptra and apparently it's recommended to use 1vial per decade of age. The medical spa I sometimes use recommended 2 vials per treatment up to 3 treatments depending on outcome. Here in the USA is$700 per vial on special price. Lol when I look at many before and after I see such subtle results that I'm not sure its worth the money. I do see that your face looks a bit more fuller, and thicker in comparison to the other video you showed. Also, it looks more smooth. I wish the price was cheaper especially when needing so much. For me I wish to improve my lower face area around the mouth... But I just can't decide if paying so much is worth. Here in the USA the Nova threads are used more and best quality supposedly. But from my research results only last about 9 months and some said it didn't work or had issues with the outcome so definitely being careful that the provider is well experienced is a must. I like to listen to Dr. Anil Rajani on youtube. He is super informative. You may want to check his channel. As always relaxing listening to your videos. Don't mind the negative comments from viewers. Not worth a second but so mean. Sending you lots of blessings and ✌️ peace. Thank you for all your honesty and great research you have for us. Much appreciated!!!

Hi sweet Annie, thank you, as always, for your lovely comment. You are right, it is expensive and I am not sure for such subtle results it is worth it. If money was not an issue, than yes, but $700 on special is a lot for on vial. I have heard the same things about threads, which is why I am so hesitant to try them. That and they scare me a bit ;) You know the bad comments don't bother me that much. 99.9% of the comments are from lovely people like you and I know the 0.1% have more to do with the commenter than me. At times I do think they are kind of funny. One person told me the other day "lady, you are way beyond skincare, the only thing that could help you is a full face lift". Mean, but I honestly had to laugh at that one. And it makes me appreciate women like you even more! xx

Thanks Claudia, that was very useful. My face is also very skinny and prone to fat loss (it seems to deflate if I am tired or do not eat enough even for one day) and I was tempted to try Sculptra in my temples as they re very hollow now. I'll update you once I'm on the other side of it and I look forward to seeing if you go for it too. There are many mixed reviews out there, you are right. I believe with this procedure the choice of practitioner is very key. I'm excited for it. :)

Hi Claudia, im going the route of sculptra for now also. ( though I think at some point im getting the vertical facelift that Dr Amir Karem offers in San Diego, Ca. , though its quite expensive ( he's on you tube - have you seen the before and after ? he has of various clients -Also he discusses sculptra and fillers and the do's and don'ts of too much or too little filler.. his facelift procedure offers a more natural look than "regular " face lift from what I have seen on the before and after and he explains quite well the aging process and how best to combat it and still look natura...l just 20 years younger :) thanks for posting this - are you keeping up with Sculptra as of now, maybe 1 vial every so often ? is it lasting and creating a better glow for your skin tone overall with collagen production . best to you Amy

I'm surprised that your results are not more noticeable after 7 vials, but thanks for your honesty. Looks like your doctor didn't inject enough in the peripheral areas of your face and your temples appear almost untouched. However, you are already beautiful! For those who don't know, the norm is 1 vial per decade. So if you're in your 50s then minimum of 5 vials is needed spaced 8-12 weeks apart. First appointment should always use 2 vials, thereafter 1 vial per visit. I also think it depends on your injector and how good they are at what they're doing.

Thank you for this informative and honest video. You look beautiful and glowing as always 🥰 I definitely see a difference but that's a very expensive treatment and though I like the results, I'm not sure it justified the price. I've been looking into bio-stimulators for a while now and decided I will go with Radiesse. Bio-stimulators are worth a try, especially because I decided heated treatments are not suited for me as I already have volume loss. Also, your bone structure is very German, my childhood friend's mum was a German lady and she had a very similar bone structure. All natural. I'm sorry you get comments accusing you of fillers, implants, etc. And yes, threads are very interesting and I even considered having them done professionally at some point. But after looking into them I wasn't quite convinced and decided to save up for Radiesse instead.

Bonjour This was so informative thank you. I do see a difference in your journey. I’m actually going to have my first session next week. I feel like sculptra is best for me right now just because my skin elasticity is very subtle around the jowls right now. It’s more for a preventative maintenance than filling. I did consider threads but I heard the same thing and was told that the collagen produced is not exactly yours. Maybe I’m exaggerating but I heard something in that regard. Your voice is so smooth and lovely. You have beautiful high cheekbones many celebrities pay for cheekbones like yours. 😊

Claudia, I think the improvement of your under eye area is quite impressive! This, the accordion lines and the thickening of the dermis make this worth it in my opinion. Also on the threads I have seen some very happy ladies using them, the problem like somebody else said they can be very expensive when done in office, also another issue for me is that there might be a strange sensation for a while which I'm not sure everyone can adjust to (I think Dr. Rajani mentioned this in one of his videos).

Dearest Claudia - thank you for this video, helping others to make informed decisions about some of these procedures. As far as the people and nasty comments - Sad, that especially women always find the need to tear each other down in any way. Maybe it’s the envy of your fantastic bone structure. People actually have surgery and have fat removed from their cheeks these days to achieve your look 😊 No need to explain or apologize. You truly don’t owe anyone anything. You put yourself on here to try and help other women. And especially, do not ever apologize for being the healthiest version of yourself! Your diet and exercise regiment should be an inspiration to all of us. Yes, we all strive to be the most beautiful version of ourselves - but more importantly we should strive to be our healthiest version! You are beautiful just as you are - And the part that truly matters most - your soul - is beautiful! Maybe instead of beauty, we should all strive to be the kindest, most compassionate, and most loving versions of ourselves! … Much love 🙏🏼💕

Most importantly I want to say I appreciate the candidness of your video. How refreshing that you are genuine and honest. I know you always are, there are just others online who might not be. We have the same story, although I’ve had even more. It pains me I’ve spent this much with so little change. I felt the same mid treatment cycle…I’m in this deep, I can’t stop now. There are plenty of testimonials of people that love it, but to me the changes are so minor. I do wonder where would I be if I hadn’t done it so that’s a thought, maybe it makes aging slow down a bit?? I did read once about another like product sold cheaper elsewhere - that would lesson the pain, but I don’t remember the product or what country. I’m sure we could research and figure it out. I like the idea behind Sculptra and would keep doing it if there was more change. I don’t want to go the filler route and I just don’t know if I trust the adipeau line either. I’ve heard very educated people say it’s just not possible to make their claims and the data doesn’t back it up. I did buy some just for kicks but I didn’t see any change and how many are necessary for it. Here we go again. I’ve got a healthy outlook on aging and the beauty industry, so I wonder if I just let things be. I live a healthy lifestyle and it has made a difference. I was just hoping to help things along as i’ve got older and keep things as natural as possible. Threads are worth looking into (I’ve considered them) but then some say, just save your money for a facelift. I know threads offer volume and lift so to compare those two procedures isn’t fair. Oh my goodness it escalates quickly into territory I’m not sure I want to go. Appreciate you sharing and being you.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and your kind words. I am very sorry to hear you did not see much difference either. It is so tempting when you are going through it to keep going, thinking something is going to happen.. And probably, even if we do not see a huge change, things have happened. For me I can def. see a difference in the thickness of my dermis. And like you said, hopefully it does help slow down collagen degradation. I have heard that PRF is supposed to be very good. Is that what you were thinking about? Unfortunately I can not find it here in Paris, but they might offer it in your area. I agree with you on the threads, you can not compare them to a face lift and a face lift is something that really scares me. The anaesthesia alone freaks me out, let alone having a bad outcome... I hear you as far as Adipeu. Logically it makes zero sense, but strangely I get comments from women quite frequently telling me they love it and can see a huge difference. I will keep testing it and keep you posted Overall it sounds like you have a wonderful attitude towards aging and nothing replaces that and a healthy life style. A provider told me that you want the inflammatory response it creates, and you get better results using 2 vials at 1x. And often need less when you go that route. I don't know if that's true. Either way, you're beautiful. And the results look very natural, but noticeable.💜

I can see a subtle difference but overall improvement. I wonder if hyperdiluted Radisse would be better? I just tried it in my neck and zero necklines within 3 weeks. I’ve not had fillers and don’t plan to. I’m intrigued by threads but feel cautious. The provider is key. My doc does hyperdiluted radiesse (biostimulator) in a unique technique. I also do frequent MEsoME micropeels and infusions frequent h which has kept my 59 year old (on Feb 25th) looking pretty good. BTW are you still using the Methylin blue?

Hi Claudia, this video and your previous Sculptra video are my first time seeing your channel. I just wanted to say I can definitely see the difference in your treatment and your face definitely looks more full and softened. It looks great. I can imagine wanting to see a more dramatic result after spending so much though. I am 35 and am considering Sculptra as well, although I have the opposite problem. My face was maybe overly full until my 30s, and I'm not sure if Sculptra will rewind to those days, or just maintain and lightly lift.

I had 4 vials across 2 treatments at 41, it definitely worked for me. This provider seems quite cautious maybe to a fault… they say to estimate 1 vial per decade for your initial treatment plan, and while you don’t want to over do it, unless you are very close to your goals I can’t imagine doing 1 vial a session and waiting for the tiny changes to show up before going back for another…. That just sounds like a way to create disappointment. When you leave, your face is looking full due to the water content, which then gets absorbed a week later and then you get disappointed that the volume went away. I can’t imagine getting strung along 1 vial at a time

HI Claudia, this was a great video, I appreciate as always your no nonsense approach to things and treatments; I think you are spot on, on your assessment and I think you would definitely benefit from threads, I do my own threads under my eyes, my nasolabial folds, and marionette lines, chin, jowls and also meso needle, threads definitely work to help with sagging, it will be a process and it will help you build loads of collagen but probably would not address the extensive volume loss under your cheeks; probably fat transfer or PRP is your best shot to regain the fat under your cheeks but, I would encourage you to start threads; not to promote anyone else because I think you are absolutely amazing in every way and love everything you do, but I also follow a lady in the UK that goes by Ageing Disgracefully, please find one of her recent videos about her journey so far (published maybe 10 days ago), she has transformed her face considerably so is definitely possible to turn back and slowdown the clock but requires a lot of dedication and trial and error to see what works for you; I have always found you to be very beautiful inside and out, thank you for sharing your journey with us 💗

@@claudiaglows Claudia, if you muster the courage, get the small cannula threads 30g x 25mm (the eyes ones but you can use them anywhere, really), if you can insert one, you can do them all; I was just as afraid at the start but placed the first one under my eye without any practice whatsoever and I have not looked back since; it is worse in your head than it really is doing it. I tend to be overcautious and do loads of research before I embark on anything but, sometimes the research takes over and you don't ever get it done, finding the middle ground is key. I’m always late to the party on these videos, but I did want to mention that I have noticed on your recent videos exactly what you describe here. You said your dermis had thickened and I have absolutely notices that change in your skin, Claudia! I agree, based on your still frame shots, that it isn’t really a “filling in” of hollowness. I know you wanted that, so it’s a bummer that wasn’t a benefit you experienced. But I absolutely noticed a change in the quality of your skin. It looks “thicker”….more youthful. So don’t despair that this was a waste. I often look at my little 7 year old daughter’s thick, bouncy baby skin and lament that I’ll never have that again. HAHA I think you may have figured out how to get it back!

Hi Claudia, what a great video, thank you. I think your skin in general looks dewier and more luminescent and plumper. I have been doing threads for about 1 1/2 years, mostly smooth one for collagen stimulation and production, and am happy with my results; my skin looks thicker and more dewey. It has improved my skin texture and provided minimal lift. I have started doing cog threads and the results so far are good. The type threads I have used are PLLA, PDO, PCL and PGA. PLLA threads are a bit stiffer and a bit more uncomfortable but the results last longer. PDO threads are softer and more comfortable but the results don't last as long. I have also done fat transplant to my face and that really worked with facial fat loss. I have heard doctors say that results are 100% permanent, but in my case I would say only about 35% was permanent.

In the US, they do 2 vials a treatment (one vial per side of face). I just had my first treatment a couple of weeks ago. They have a fairly standard expected schedule for a persons age group, I expected 3 visits which would be 6 vials, but when I went, they said I look great and I would probably only need the 2 visits - we will see. I think you aren't far off from the expected number of vials if you are near my age. If you are slightly older, maybe 8 vials is normal? Sorry you felt disappointed by it but it seems like a great option where it grows your own collagen and has a natural look. We will see how I do with it. Thanks for doing the videos, I watched them all before my appointment! Edit: one thing I've been doing, I've started drinking protein shakes, because I have a very low protein diet. I don't want to risk not having that collagen develop! I have no idea if that makes a difference, it's just my own theory.

There is no way to tide these threats back together or take them out and can create nodes. even if they hold the line will show under certain lighting, and the pain can last for quite a while.

Hi Claudia, I think you’re beautiful and I personally think your facial bone structure is beautiful. Personally, I’ve experienced with fillers, peels and threading. Peels, I think are wonderful procedures. that I felt made my skin look great. And so I would do those again. But I felt that although both fillers and threading made a great difference. I’ve also learned through the years is that both can create your skin to stretch that once you choose to stop and your skin settles down/goes back to normal. In my opinion, has contributed to making my skin sag look hollow, making me look even older. As for threading. I thought it really made some difference in my face, but it takes time to heal and it doesn’t last more than a year, maybe 2. Although that may seem like a long time, we still continue to age so at the end of the 1 1/2 to 2 years I found that it wasn’t worth the overall results and cost because I felt like I just reverted back to square one and maybe looking older due to my skin stretching a little here and there for my skin to look more youthful. And if you don’t keep it up, the face texture starts to look perhaps worst than it would haves had I just let my face age naturally. But if you choose to do threads, just really do the research on the clinic and the person performing the procedure, because it can cause some permanent damage if they hit the nerves. Which you’ll never know what’s going to happen until you do it, just as one doesn’t truly know the results of plastic surgery. I also have learned, throughout my experience on both fillers and threading. I personally feel that I wish I had waited until I was in my mid-sixty to try fillers and threading because I truly believe that doing those things in my 40 and 50 years of age caused my skin to look more aged than what I believe now, that it would have had I waiting for my skin to have aged some. Now that I’m older (going on 67) I simply am just taking care of my skin by doing Gua Sha (using a good face oil I created for my skin type) once or twice a day and using the Ominilux face and neck, which I also use the neck piece on my top of my hands, and I’m really seeing good results with both the firmness and fullness of my face hands and lifting in my neck and face. Last, the one thing I have personally learned, is that although plastic surgery is something that many feel is risky and has a longer down time, the result do last longer. Now I have no experience on surgical procedures. But when I think about it, all temporary procedures like fillers, threading, lotions and machines etc., etc.. are just temporary and at the end of the day turn out to cost perhaps more than the cost of surgery. I understand the risks behind plastic surgery. But just the same there’s risks and permanent damage that can also be created with the home remedies. So knowing what I know now. I’m now thinking that plastic surgery is something I’m gravitating towards if my skin doesn’t fill out or lift by doing what I’m currently doing. Please know that I’m in no way criticizing what you do because I have been learning a lot from you. Plus, I love your honesty and openness of what you’ve done. So whatever I say here is just simply said with love, going from my own experiences.❤️🫂 J
