So everyone who orders an X will always get my XL vehicle but I won't get paid XL rates! Uber operates the same way, only they have included Connect on my app now for packages. When I travel to LV, both X and XL go off my app and only Connect and DELIVERIES appear on my app. So I can do Connect & Deliveries but not pickup people in NV. I used to be able to do Uber Pet in NV, too. But they won't put Uber Pet on my app in AZ. So if I get a Big Dog in my car in AZ, Support tells me I can't upgrade to XL price because of ADA service animal laws or Uber Pet option. These support techs are worthless. We don't need to be paying Uber or Lyft for SERVICE FEES to better their apps when they do not better their apps and only penalize us for asking for FAIRNESS IN GETTING PAID. Revolution did not begin with me. But if they're ripping me off, they're ripping EVERYBODY ELSE OFF, too!

You can’t do 70 rides in three days anymore too many drivers and not enough rides, maybe if you sit in Old Town and accept $3 rides for 36 hours in three days. Even then you didn’t make any real money. Pigeons are out in full force.

I know what's fair, and relying on someone to tip is pointless at the level of the game where you're giving great service and NOT getting tipped for it. I dont even ask what they paid. I don't care. I care about what I'm being paid, so I start with, "...I dont know what you paid for this trip, but I'm willing to do it for THIS amount because the app is only paying me THIS outta the trip." If they say, "...oh, welll that's your problem, not mine.", then I cancel and drive off. Them getting from Point A to Point B is their problem, not mine. I return that energy.

Anyone can say, "...I'll pay for the ride...everyone just Venmo me $8." 3 people Venmo $8 and the actual ride to the bar be like $11 with the driver getting $6. The person with the account got $24 and paid $11, giving him $13 profit on selling the seats...and that's TWICE as much as the driver got. I've said that shit before and YOU SEE IT TOO! The potential for account holders to sell seats is there. And the drivers are getting shit on. The apps make money. Account holders make money. And the drivers get slaved out for pennies. All the riders would have to pay $11 each (plus tip) for their own Uber. Or, they give the account holder $8 and save money...and the account holder makes money on that. Shit's crazy when you think about the potential cash cow a driver becomes for EVERYBODY else, other than himself/herself. That's why we gotta do it the way we do. GET MONEY and don't GET PLAYED.

I know that I'm a contractor and I know that I have rights to negotiate business, just as the apps have the right to sell us at whatever price they feel they want from a rider. @justinjames4641 it depends, I do this part time to be honest so Friday and Saturday nights only ranging from 4-12 hours each depending how busy it is. If a large event happens on any other day I work just the event. It's hard to say how much I make per night, it ranges greatly between $250 on a slow day to $1800 on a killer day. Sometimes it's $150 because it just sucks so I try and get cash rides. But sometimes it's $1800 because the months between February and March in Arizona are insane. I set my goals on how much I wanna make per week. Everyone's benchmark should be different so I'm ok just working 2 nights a week and I'm happy with that 😄 Also I save a ton of money because I charge at home with solar. Our whole house water/gas/power bill is $450 a month with 2 Teslas during the Arizona summer 😆

Yup. I wanted to record myself attempting a cash ride so people know how transactions go. It's not ALWAYS gonna be a yes, but I still banged out cash rides AFTER that. Don't be discouraged. Tell them how the apps are ripping us off. They deserve to know the truth for the amount of money they're spending on the apps. They're paying for LAWSUITS with the fees they're paying and the driver ain't getting shit. Speak up and that's how we change the industry. We let people know what's going on, in the reality of rideshare. If you close a deal, sweet. If not, move on and keep fighting! I'll see if I can clip that into a short. You're right!

Yup. Set the rides to Comfort and XL. Let the pings come thru. Find a ride you want. We know the Black rate for these rides already, so give the rider the rate YOU WOULD GET if this were a Black ride. Don't charge them what Uber would charge for a Black ride; only charge what YOU would get, and there's your upgrade for the rider and more money for you. I mean, if drivers love the Black rates, then charge Black rates to people who don't wanna pay the Uber or Lyft FEES on top of FEES just to get a Black ride. Give them the ride for what you would get anyways, which is about DOUBLE what you're seeing on the screen for XL or Comfort. And they pay the same, if not LESS for the upgraded ride! Cancel and tell them to cancel the NEXT DRIVER on their screen that's being paired. If they don't cancel the next driver, they will be charged a cancel fee.

Never too many miles. You can go 500k before an engine swap. Rebuild the transmission twice and you're good to go. I've gor 257k on my Wrangler with the same engine and new clutch...224k on my 2005 Escalade with a rebuilt transmission at 160k in my garage at home. Miles means it's reliable.

He connected with Riders thru Uber/Lyft app directly and negotiating on the spot. Pretty sure that is directly against the TOS. Rideshare companies are terrible, but I would still like to have access to them as a back up.

But to prohibit FAIR COMPETITION in the market place is a direct violation of the Sherman Antitrust act. You cannot make a policy that is against the law. Uber and Lyft have policies that are against the law. Does it ever occur to you how many times Uber and Lyft have been sued for operating and conducting policies that go against the law? And when they get in courts, the settle or either lose the suit. Have you ever realized that? @@LXRD-SUPREME- The apps will not tell us how many passengers it is because they are selling a car as "seats 4". Sure it seats 4, but that doesn't mean THREE SHOULD RIDE FOR FREE! We should have an extra amount for passengers, as there's NO form of transportation on this planet that says, "...but your ticket and bring 3 friends for free." Uber and Lyft are the only mfkas that pull that shit. We don't have to deal with that. We can charge whatever we want and the riders can split the cost. But it is unreal to expect FOUR PEOPLE to ride for $3...$8...all because an APP sold us and our cars like a slave.

Not only that, but you can always roll up and negotiate a rate that's more fair for 3 riders. If they don't like the rate, select TOO MANY PASSENGERS and ride off. You can win the negotiation battle, period. If they say "YES, WE'LL DO THE DEAL", select "too many passengers" to cancel it, collect your money thru CashApp or Venmo, complete the deal. If they say, "...no, that's fine...we don't wanna pay outside of the app...", CANCEL IT...select "TOO MANY RIDERS", and drive off. LOL! Either way, you're gonna win that battle.

I didn't put anything down. My bank bought it. I now transfer money to them to buy it from them. LOL! I just make sure that it's a price that under what I got approved for, and once I get the price set, I call the bank and tell them to buy it and I'll pay them for it. Zero down! I never put money down on cars. I do the negotiations FIRST, then I call my bank...each time.

Nope. I've bought cars thru my banks for DECADES. I've done this my whole life. I've got an accounting degree. I was an executive for most of my career. I know how banks work. I use it to my advantage. The banks know what I'm doing, as I've always done it. And that's how I pay my cars off faster.

The owner would get old state police vehicles and do his own repairs. Pay sucked and he was a dope, but he would drop some wisdom from time to time

I've always been a hands-on, in the trenches guy...even in corporate. I respect WORK, at all levels of the game. Got the most complaints and left more customers behind than anyone a privilege he reserved only for himself he'd fire anyone else who did it. He never ever worked nights in any capacity. It was all setup to feed his retirement which I believe he's enjoying right now.

You have an interesting observation, that points out how criminal it is for Uber/Lyft to not pay the driver decent rates. When Lyft removed LUX from my market, I now find myself having to drive 3 times the miles and for twice as long time wise, to make the same money. I made commitments under to fulfill and prosper under the old offering, and they pulled the rug out from under me, all because LUX rides were perceived by them as interfering with their surge price gouging.

True. On the HUM app, the rider's actual phone number is put into the system show that I linked with them and started a ride with them. That is tracked in a database.
