They won Fabulous Award and Singer of the Year (Daesang).. but everyone was shocked because our Woozi won thr Best Producer..he was the youngest to earn the award in the history of AAA 😭😭😭

carats consider BUMZU as seventeen's honorary 14th member! he has worked with the boys since the verrrry beginning and the members are all very close with him. thanks to BUMZU, woozi was able to get into producing and he was the one who nutured him and taught him! you can find a bunch of videos with BUMZU with the boys so i think that as a baby carat its important to acknowledge him in seventeens work as well. not only is he a producer that works on seventeens stuff with woozi, but he's also an artist himself with some of his own music out! and if you see any clips of svt and woozi in the studio, BUMZU is usually there too - he appears often in their behind the scene stuff. attacca is one of my fav seventeen albums im glad you enjoyed it!!

Pang is actually the sound of a balloon popping…they kinda gave us a heads up about it in the highlight medley where they were popping bubbles in the video. 😂 The song itself is full of metaphors actually, like balloons popping represents their hearts bursting. Usually, when performance unit releases a song, we look forward to the choreography but unfortunately, we haven’t gotten one for this song yet so we just keep pang pang pang pang pang-ing for now. 😂 Also, just a little info, the Korean title of Imperfect Love is actually the last line in the song, which Joshua translated as “Everyday I’m happy because of you.” ❤️

Its really a pleasant surprise coz not a lot of people with music background check out albums so to hear a review from a perspective that knows what they're talking about is always a treat. As a HHU, Stan I feel that HHU is more on to the experimental side of hip-hop. Their non album stuff are what you would mostly find in album releases of other known hip-hop and rap heavy Kpop groups and they switch it up for their actual album songs. They kind of veer towards the more r&b side of hip-hop mostly cause the individual member's taste are very much into that. Wonwoo, Mingyu and s.coups love ballads and classic Korean pop songs with more of modern western r&b (artists like Lauv, Khalid, MAX) while Vernon is a mixed bag of influence (Frank Ocean, Post Malone, Tobi Lou, BROCKHAMPTON). And the fact that they do a lot of their own wiritng kinda shows where they pull their influences from and it's always fascinating to hear them reference other artists sound in their own works. Also since you asked if Vernon listened to the likes of blink182!!! He def did. He once did a vlive playing just old punk pop songs like green day basket case, avril's sk8er boi, arctic monkeys' r u mine etc... And since you said you think you're more hip hop unit biased, please I wanna introduce you to the diff sides of HHU but I can't link a reddit post here huhu

Basically we have 3 tom and jerry relationships in SVT 1. Dino and Seungkwan 2. Mingyu and Seungkwan 3. Hoshi and Seungkwan But no 1 and 3 really argue a lot hahaha. Seungkwan is having big time with everyone.

PANG! is weird, YES and that's why it's my fav lmao once you hear it will stay in your head all day For your performance reactions of these songs, dunno if you know, but Jun and The8 are currently in China spending time with their family and solo projects (Jun is filming a drama and The8 os attending lots of stuff+OSTs and TV), so some of the performances won't have them, afortunally they left lots of content recorded Boo attacca (hehe) again! The Hiphop unit songs are often my favourites as well, though sometimes tied with Performance unit. I forget what albums they're on but What's Good and Chili (both Hiphop unit) were the two songs when I first started getting into Seventeen that I just could not stop listening to.

Wonwoo and Mingyu - Bittersweet Seventeen leader line - Change Up BooSeokSoon - Just Do It S.Coups, Vernon and Woozi - Q&A And Jun and The8 - My I 5 totally different songs and judging by your music taste I think you might like Q&A and Bittersweet the most! They also have more fan mvs and unit mvs that you haven’t seen, it’s a journey lol. But maybe doing the rest of their title tracks would be better. I think all you have left are Thanks, Oh My, Home and Hit!

I think the crazy for you parts in crush are done by woozi and dk Also, each unit usually has one song in each album. Except for semicolon, the unit songs were done by age instead. Unfortunately I don’t think there are stages for the unit songs rn :( Also, idk if u ever want to watch funny content anytime soon, but I suggest the svt series by mwuahjk (or really any video by mwuahjk) I learned their names really easily by watching funny content, and literally every member is so entertaining Edit: heng:garæ also doesn’t have any unit songs!!

Fun fact: You notice them being in age order on the lyric video. But on the 97line, the oldest is DK, then Mingyu then The8... But they always put it as The8 then Mingyu then DK. It's because of The8's request to be put as the 8th member on the line up due to his name w/c is totally fine w/ the members. So even on the fanchant w/c is in age order, The8 comes first on the 97line instead of DK.

Also last thing, To You and Crush actually has performance videos on their Seventeen Channel. They performed it on Attacca Comeback Show. But, Jun and The8 is not there because they are currently in China.

It's cool you get to see their improvement and growth! And SEVENTEEN is so versatile, it's going to be a great journey of genres, plus the beautiful lyrics. (My second fave mini of theirs) I haven't read all the other comments, so idk if someone told you this already but, if I remember correctly, To You is open to interpretation, it's about the trivial things that cause you small happiness, Woozi said that for him, it was when his pet greeted him when he goes home (fun fact, this is how we found out he has a pet lol). For Crush at 08:28 you asked who did the high notes, it's DK as well, he is harmonizing in his part (it's that the correct term? I don't know much about music, sorry) For Pang! If I'm completely honest, when I heard it in the teaser, I legit said "Wth is this??" and I though that I could end up skipping it quite often, but as you said, there are some songs that take a couple of listens and this was one of them. Now this one is like a serotonin boost, I can't help but smile every time I listen to it, it's so fun and cheerful! Hoshi said this was originally more heavy on hip hop, but it didn't match the vibe of the album, so they made it sound cuter lol, and it is indeed a metaphor of them being balloons and PANG is the onomatopoeia of a popping balloon hehe And you asked if Vernon grew up listening to pop punk bands and yes, Vernon has mentioned he did grow up listening to that genre of music, he really REALLY likes Avril Lavigne too! The hip hop team can go hard when it comes to rap they have a few songs that are for concert only and aren’t on their albums like “lotto”, “whats the problem” and “un haeng il chi” you should watch their stages 😳 (there are recorded versions for these too!)
