I’ve got the 2006 Zetec Climate version of this car. Identical colour, interior and engine except Ford did two tuning options on the engine and mine is the 115bhp version. It just got through it’s MOT again with no advisories and it’s only ever had a couple of minors relating to maintenance when it has. Had it for 11 years now and it still runs like new. Just approaching 100k miles so based on yours I’ll hopefully be able to keep it for another 10! It’s been a trusty, practical and fun family car that’s great to drive!

Cost me £1500 in 2018. Been told reliably that it will pass another MOT in Feb. Ford badge came off grille (or was nicked) just like yours. Amazing car..new alternator and 4 new suspension struts only..due to state of British roads. Having another next!!

I'm in Australia and have this same manual 1.6L 2007 Focus, only the LX model, which I suppose is basic without the bells and whistles. My brother in law is a mechanics foreman who has worked for Honda, VW and Toyota diagnosing issues and he said because I have the manual European model, it is reliable and a great smaller car. I paid $4K Australian dollars 15 months ago when it had 150,000 kms on the clock and have only added 5K more in 15 months. Glad to know she will be reliable for years to come. I don't need a fancy car, just reliable.

We do have a focus 90hp and a bmw S1 115hp.
