Modified with Lexus ISF parts!
This is a 2010 Lexus GS 460 1 of 43 Ever made
I exchanged the transmission computer to the ISF TCU for Faster shifts, gear hold and rev matching.
The X-Force Catback exhaust was for the ISF but I had it fitted to the GS 460
I did not get the Varex type. The valves in this one are fully open all the time
Secondary cats were deleted. Still have Pre Cats
A custom tune will be added to the car later to take better advantage of the upgrades. I will make another video soon!

While your at it you should upgrade your lower control arm bushings to the better polyurethane bushings like the ones from figs, improves steering feel and response and give the car a sportier drive a bit

Nice 460 you have. I have an '08 one in the UK. Any fault codes or lights with the TCU change yet? I recommend GROM Vline 2. Although yours is a '10 with lightly newer than the 08.

No trouble codes yet. If I let the car sit for too long the computer has to re-learn but that quickly goes away and the car becomes much more responsive. Waiting for the custom tune for my 460 to really find out the potential

It’s a full catback and extended with a custom routing in the back. Secondary cats were deleted

I went for twin Varexes when spent money on my 206 Majesta. Super useful for those 6am cold starts. But the second cats have to go! Love how much sound deadening is in these things...No drone.

@@VintageAudioTech also I found I’ve lost power on fully open. You’d think the butt dyno would like the noises but it’s pretty obvious. Closed has more torque. Still ok with it 😏😉

@@VintageAudioTech Paul, when you randomly modify your exhaust and intake you will loose some of the scavenging effect that is designed into them, to make the engine more efficient and emissions compliant, so without modifying the fuel/spark map you'll notice power and efficiency loses at certain rpms compared to what you had before. Sorry 25+ years working for car companies, couldn't help myself 😆😆

Clean. Had a 2003 GS430 with FBO for 10 years. My trans shifted super slow. GS460’s are quite rare, they sold poorly and not many were made. Only 1 460 was sold for every ten 350 that were sold.

@@VintageAudioTechits a bitch finding one non beat up I last test drove an 08 one with 202K miles and upon checking the oil damn little to zero oil left on that car even though he was asking only 6K for it I passed on it. The 460 didn’t sell well frankly due to high fuel prices that period as well and recession in that period also the fact the GS350 with the 2GRFSE was a damn solid engine.

@@alex1987NISMOCLUByes it shifts and reacts faster than the stock configuration. With The stock TCU logic the shifts blur into each other and the shifts aren’t as defined. Feels more like a CVT. Now it runs like a proper transmission with defined shifts

Man.. and you’ve got the radar cruise control?!? Very rare! My TCU arrives next month and I’m stoked! Could you explain the K&N more? I was looking at the Injen for the ISF. For tuning, look for “Tuned by Loi”. He can remote tune GS460s and pretty much all the 5.0 V8 Lexus.

The K&N filter helps with the OEM restrictive intake system. I have the Injen CAI ready for install once the tune is ready. Loi is tuning the vehicle. I will make another video once those 2 things are added to the car

@@evanporter4986I may do the PPE headers later. I have the stock manifolds with the pre-cats. Primary cats have been taken out. I will make an in-depth video about the cold air intake and tune. I will also provide a lot of engine sounds and in cabin driving

It’s actually funny that you describe the 460 TCU being a factory problem and the rest of us are just like “that’s just the way it is” lol

Beautiful car man… been looking for another black on black 430 for years, just purchased a silver on blk 460 on Friday and waiting for it to be shipped from Texas. Car has his exhaust only engine mod… i didn’t know Tcm can be swapped w an isf… I was thinking of getting it tunedbyloi or sector7 tuned…any advice on either of these tunes compared to your isf tcm? Any noticeable differences/downside and also where did you purchase it from. Thanks a lot… excited on getting me new (to me) 460

Get the ISF X-Force Exhaust Fitted, install ISF TCU, Injen CAI and get it tuned you’ll truly have a sleeper muscle car

Dated in what regards no apple play lol..it has heated, cooled seats, mark Levinson system, rear motorized shades and a 4.6 liter v8.....you want a turbo 4 cylinder I guess lol....I love my GS 460...and his silver one too...

@@sirmoney2762 I have a twin turbo V8 Mercedes with apple CarPlay, heated/cooled seats, auto pilot, 360 cam, blind spot, panoramic roof, list goes on. So yes, dated in my opinion. When I was shopping for my next vehicle I considered the 460, but due to limited production model years and tech, decided to pass. Thanks bud

ISF and GS460 share that same Transmission but yours is programmed way better. The ISF TCU swap makes it a bit more fun

The covers actually keep the heat away from the wiring. Use a thermal camera. Toyota spends billions in r&d I doubt they would want to ruin its reputation by adding a cover. By you removing it actually adds conduction to the wiring.

My 08' GS 460 is running sluggish have check engine light it has slow acceleration from a complete stop cleaned MAF sensor still no improvements engine sounds a bit not smooth like yours any help or info could help

No because it’s a different car. The GS 460 and ISF share the same transmission. IS250 has a 6 speed

The GS350 is a 6 Speed not gonna work you’re better off getting a final drive ratio off the IS350.

@@gs400bronzemica7many changes after ISF TCU was installed. Quicker throttle response, faster shifts, holds gears and commands them like an ISF with better rev matching. Drives like a different car now.

@@lambertrodriguez1057 they are both great cars. Installing the ISF TCU made a difference in how the car shifts. Much more fun to drive. I like the v8 so opted for the 460
