Matt P I’d imagine it’d sound the same. If I had to do it again I may have just done a muffler delete. When we had the mufflers off it sounded amazing but it’s definitely going to be a little louder. Keeping the resonator on when you do a muffler delete should kill any drone

Jay Jul I just sold mine a couple months ago with 145000 miles on it and the only thing it had to go to the dealer for was a steering angle sensor that went out. Other than that just regular maintenance. The car wasn’t working out well for 2 big car seats for our 1 and 2 yr old boys so I got something larger. Still loved it tho.

Jared Stueckel Oh wow. What else didn’t you like about the GS460 besides that? What made you sell it?

I sold it because I just stopped driving it after I bought a new tundra trd pro. Only complaints on the car lack of headroom if you’re over 6’, and it goes through brakes and tires pretty quickly. Overall it’s a great balance of decent power, sportiness, and comfort.

Jared Stueckel I gotcha! It seems like quite the performance car. A little bit of a sleeper I’d say too. Extremely rare to find as well.

elibutton it was a tough decision which route to go. And I may change it later. Problem is that stock you can’t hear a single thing while driving except engine noise, and it’s not very desirable. To me it’s not fast enough to fall in a silent but deadly category, maybe if it ran 12s but it’s a high 13 sec car so I’m not racing people, just gets me to and from work.

yeah I get it - personal preference. I prefer a little quieter, smoother, and less of that groggy sound. elibutton hadn’t seen either. The first clip sounded more like engine noise but I like the 2nd one. Can’t figure out the setup tho. The quality of those videos isn’t as clean either(concerning the audio) so it’s always hard to tell how different it might be in real life.

Pierre Groß it’s stock/factory. Only the resonator was replaced with a straight pipe and the secondary catalytic converters were gutted/hollowed out.

@@Dd-mt5ol it should have a 1st set that’s monitored and the 2nd set is not so they could be cut off entirely if you went that route.

WILLIAM LAST who made you so mad in life? It’s an old man car. By having a simple plate like that people understand I’m a car enthusiast and it may strike a conversation about it. I’d drive the gtr everyday but that’d be stupid and make it worthless.
