Hello everyone,
I am so excited for this 2023 hobonichi planner flip through! This notebook has been such a staple in my life and the hobonichi cousin is officially considered my ride or die planner. I hope you enjoy this flip through, and all the planner spreads I experimented with. This planner was a safe space to be minimal, functional, productive, artistic, and I could not recommend it enough!

Absolutely love seeing your planner, and love how you’ve used it your way and developed your own system over time. The paintings are gorgeous and your daughter’s scribbles are going to be so beautiful to look back at when she’s older. Thank you for sharing!! xx

I loved how your art develop through the weeks and months. Your style is very unique and definitely represents who you are as a planner in their artistic style of journaling. I'm in the process of figuring things out myself so I get finding what works best for you. Thanks for sharing.

I love your spirit of experimentation and not needing to follow the exact structure of the book!! I loveee the cousin but I find I put myself into these mental boxes where I need to know exactly how I’m going to use every spot and it has to stay like that lol ughhh! Your art is gorgeous and seeing this is soo cool

I’m unfamiliar with that album so I’m not sure! A lot of the reference photos I use are from Pinterest so it’s totally possible. I appreciate your kind words so much!! It means a lot ❤️❤️

How do you print out your photographs or find the images for collages? I love this! I think it looks so awesome. I just got a hobonichi this year and it’s a mess but I’m mostly using it for work. I’d love to buy another one and use it for fun stuff 😂

I find a lot of my picture off of Pinterest honestly and I just print them on regular printer paper :) i do think Canva is another great tool for making collages. That’s so exciting for you!! You’ll have to update me and let me know how it goes, I’m sure you’ll get it sorted out 😌

This is so bizarre. I had never heard of an angel number before I saw yours in your planner, so I googled it and then went down a rabbit hole and did a crazy long survey and at the end it said my angel number is 444, the same as yours 🤯❤️❤️❤️

Omg this is so cool! Once I started seeing 444 I noticed it EVERYWHERE and it has become a comforting reminder as I go through the weeks/months. I hope it can be the same for you! You’ll definitely have to update me if you end up seeing it pop up more

This flip through is so inspiring! I love your style so much, and I’m glad to have inspo that is not coffee monsterz co stickers (nothing wrong with them btw, I like to see videos with that aesthetic too bc it’s so away from my comfort zone that it’s entertaining to see. But sometimes it feels like Hobonichi cousin = CMC stickers). I also appreciate the non perfection planner chat, we need to love the process more than the result, in planners and in many other things in life, right? P.S.: my car is called Car-N (bc the navigator can’t stop talking and she had some shut up Karen meme moments 😂). I’m glad to see that others put a name on their cars too haha.

You are a wonderful artist. I hope your career involves art in some way. I'm sure you know but I will say it anyway: The things that you will find the most beautiful and entrancing years and decades from now are your adorable daughter's art, where she is imitating her mama. One of the most interesting and delightful facets of your book, to me, is your willingness to stop what you're doing in the middle and try something new and different - and your attendant willingness to go back to what you were doing if that suits you. It's an odd term to use but I think that shows bravery, especially when you are willing to commit yourself to a fairly involved painting in your book.I am a seventy-six-year-old retired elementary school principal. I dabble in writing, music and art. Since I am the poster geezer for ADHD, I have had to use a planner of some brand or another for 43 years.

Thank you so much for this! My career currently isn’t anything with art but I would love for that to be my future. My daughters art is something I definitely think will grow with value as time goes one. This year was definitely a lot of experimenting and really just trying to listen to my needs and I think sometimes that can be really daunting to others when they sit down with their books. Nooo.... I also had cyst. Surgical interventions (not removal), did not stop it from returning. Now gone with hand exercise and some rest... I used to write a lot (very fast and excessive writing) that caused the cyst
