It has already been 3 years since I moved to Japan. Much has happened but not much has changed. Let's go over my life from the past year. I've been studying Japanese for 7 years in total now so how did my Japanese actually improve by living in Japan? Did I finally manage to pass the JLPT?

3 Years of living in Japan, and in the same month was also the start of my Japanese learning journey, which started 4 years before moving to Japan. Still one of the best decisions I've made, even though work conditions in Japan are not that great (but still better than Belgium).

Web development is something necessary here as a lot of websites are pretty out dated. If you are up for a challenge I would actually recommend you to learn some web UI development as well and start your own site building business which mainly targets small businesses. If you can get some customers and you think it's a good business, rent a server and provide hosting to those small businesses. :p This is actually one of my business ideas, but I'm too busy with other projects at the moment ^^" Hahaha, thanks! Yeah I also struggle quite a bit with grammar, that was the main reason I had to actually create those grammar videos. You'll probably not need this, but I will actually release an updated version of the N4 grammar video (fixing some mistakes, changing sentences and no more background music ^^")

The best thing you can do is to be very very good at Japanese. Especially, your kid is going to be Japanese. Japanese most likely will be the only way to communicate with him unless you move a English speaking country. Also, you definitely know Japanese enough to fight back there otherwise they will eat you alive especially if you are a quiet person. Good luck

Yes I do!! Cheese here is way too expensive and we can't even have decent cheese either. Food is probably the main thing I miss about Europe hahaha Everything here from snacks is salty for some reason (my cholesterol really likes that) and all other food tastes good, but it's not the food I grew up with so I'm starting to miss that type of food ^^"
