When I saw those birds at your door I thought this must be your worst nightmare. Then I saw the birds in 1994 right in front of you and decided THAT must be your worst nightmare! They were as big as you. (And apparently vloging runs in the family.) Glad you had a great birthday.

99% chance I was there too when you guys were filming in 1994. For me, Centre Parcs defined Christmas, in a way it still does even though I haven't been for 10 years or more, the feeling of mystery and excitement pulling up to the park at night the week before xmas was just peak childhood for me. Seeing the lights through there trees, the frosty winter air, waking up the next morning in the chalet with Cartoon Network on TV and ducks pecking at the window.. Pure happiness. So nice to see you reliving that magic as an adult!

I’m a long term viewer (started watching when Charlotte Ruff gave you a shout out a couple of years ago) but first time commenter. This time last year, I stayed in the villas that you pass on your bike at 45:21. They are nice but just a 3 bed version of what you stayed in. They did also have the added luxury of a hot tub outside though 👌 hope you had a wonderful 30th and I’m looking forward to seeing your future Disney vlogs soon 😊 xxx

We’ve been to Woburn lots of times and you’re allowed to use your camera on the rapids and slides as long as you’re hands free. They were stopping people who weren’t hands free.

Fantastic video, have so much love for Centre Parcs! I first went in like 1996/97 don't remember them as I was born in 93, but i got the full experience in 98, the swimming is one of the best parts for sure 💪 I remember going in 2000 and my step brother dropped his goggles down one of the slides 😂😂

Hi Claire, what a lovely birthday get away. My son loves Centre Parcs and visits the one in The Lakes. Crazy golf with your mum is so funny. This video now completes my chronological order of watching everything your have posted. It all started a month ago when your “My year on Disney CRP” popped up in my recommendation box. That video wetted my appetite to follow that journey from the start and it was amazing. Your love for Disney was infectious and though I had been to Orlando for twenty years more, recent visits hadn’t included too many trips to the parks and your videos opened my eyes to Disney once again and really got me in the mood for our visit in July 2020 with our son, daughter-in-law and two youngest grandchildren and my wife’s middle sister and for the first time ever staying in a villa, which is wheelchair accessible. Since you returned home you have achieved so much. Sadly your dream job with Virgin Holidays didn’t work out and I’m not sure what you’re doing now but I hope you find that dream career very soon. You never know Disney might come calling....... Talking careers, I haven’t seen but I assume that Simon passed all his exams and is now Chartered? Your Weekly Vlogs were nice as you settled back into life away from Disney and at times so funny, I feel like I know my way around your local Morrison’s. ha,ha. I hope your driving confidence is returning? Your moving vlogs were equally as enjoyable as you allowed us to follow you settling in to your new home with help from DIY dad. ha,ha. I hope you have many happy years to come there. Your trip to Cornwall was one of my favourites. I never knew the county had so much to offer and Simon’s enthusiasm for his home town of St Ives was great. As for the coming year I shall now look forward to the weekly videos from your February & April visits to Orlando, they are keeping my granddaughter entertained. Fingers crossed for Simon’s wish list trip to Tokyo and again for your dream career. Keep the videos coming.

Loved this video- you remind me of me so much 😂 I was born in ‘89 and have been going to Center Parcs Sherwood since the early ‘90s as well! I also am a big Disney world fan and I’ve never realised how much the dome reminds me of spaceship earth before you said it 😂 Can’t wait to get back to Center Parcs after lockdown.

I love Sherwood. I have been there probably into double figures. I’ve seen many Sherwood videos on KZfaq but yours really resonated with me. Your enthusiasm is infectious and I feel the same as you do. This is just an amazing place where you can just relax and forget about everything. Unfortunately I had two center Parcs visits cancelled this year due to Covid. I hope things will return to normal soon because I would love to return. And the video at the end where you were there as a child were really good. You also have great memories of Sherwood when you were really young as well. Thanks for reminding me of how amazing this place is.

I am glad you had a good birthday! Also, that Center Parks place looks fun. Reminds me of Fort Wilderness like you said, and other camp places that are probably in the US. Not sure, the camps I remember going to are a bit smaller, and it's more focused on the biking, hiking, fishing, or any boat activities one can think of.

I went to Elveden for my 30th last year..I love Center Parcs & everything about it is amazing (except the price 🤣) we go every year for winter wonderland & it’s so lovely. You were the cutest kid btw, my dad was the same he did so many home videos of us in the 90s and I’m so glad as they are memories forever. Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest looked so AMAZING! We do not have anything like this in the USA (at least that I know of). What a unique experience. Really enjoyed this vlog Claire, brought back some childhood memories. I remember those rapids. It looks to have changed a lot since I went, the choice of restaurants look good and those cakes in the market would be worth the trip on there own. Think I’d be pulling my chair up to the counter and shouting next 😂. Always love to see your dad in the vlogs, he makes me chuckle with his one liners, can’t wait for the new Disney vlogs and enjoy this trip, we’ve only got 3 weeks today till our next WDW trip 😬

Sherwood is one of the few villages I haven't been to, but would love to visit at some point in the future, looks like you and your family had a fab time. My friends and I are going to Whinfell at the end of July, that's our closest village as we are from Newcastle, Cannot wait! I've been many times over the years, cannot recommend it enough

Holy cow, Centre Parcs in the UK is WAY different than over here. So much Disney stuff in that shop and so many modern things.... over here it is so outdated. They did renew a lot of the cottages/villa's/little houses/whatever :p but I find the shops and all that so old. I mean, the last time we were there we had a newly refurbished cottage and the rooms weren't nearly as modern as the ones you had over there. They were plain white, one of the closet doors was already broken ... Hahaha I was laughing so loud when they sang for you and you were like 'me' every time they sang happy birthday to 'you' :p Such a cute cake! I love all the animals in Center Parcs. It's so quiet and relaxing there! Hahahaha loved how you dad just casually dressed playing ping pong like a pro with his special moves and all that haha :p brilliant! Yes I remember the hockey golf haha :p Isn't it funny how an éclair sounds like 'a claire' :p The pool looks amazing. I never understood savory pancakes. That's really something I can't eat....because in my mind pancakes are sweet and not savory and I just can't handle something tasting completely different as to what it looks :p yes I'm weird haha :p OMG you were such a cute little girl! Haha I loved how your father already was a vlogger 'avant la lettre' :) Your parents are such proud parents, you can really tell. And your big brother looking after you on the roller skate thing and in the pool. Aw so cute. How much older is he? Hi Claire great video, about your Gopro you could have done with using a camera bicycle mount that way your hands would have been free as the camera would have been mounted on to the handle bar, also you can now get swivel heads for the gopro and similar cameras to the gopro which allows you to turn the camera easily to film your surroundings and they are available on both Amazon and Ebay, although Ebay is cheaper, you just type in 360 degree swivel mount and the one you want is the one that as the 3 prongs at one end and 2 prongs at the other
