After spending 3 crores suppose I'm graduating from this university for a 80k yearly package this year with no job security(recent covid-19 situation in US).I will rather invest my money and do a MBA in India itself. Rather then taking a loan and be in a constant burden of repaying it for 10 years. But if your only priority is to go onshore and enjoy life by wasting your parents money or risking your next 4-5 years by taking a huge loan with no job security than I'm totally in favour of this. Thanks.

@@youtuberk1577 he said he's paying 60k/year. 60k for a year is too much. Tuition fees is approx 1600/credit (You can check this on the university website) and in a year a person takes 18 credits on average. If you add rent, utilities and living expenses (considering you're not living a lavish lifestyle), it adds up to around 35k-37k. Every student over here does a part-time job which gets them $10/hour for 20 hours a week. Excluding 4 months of holidays, if you work regularly for 20 hours, you end up earning around 6k. By simple addition and subtraction, you can see that yearly expenses come out to be around 30k.

Hey! I have been keeping a track of your videos since a long time while researching about international studies. My sister wants to study in the states for her under graduate degree but wants to pursue the humanities field. All your vlogs are concerned with computer science and engineering and not humanities, but your are the best option I have today to know about the ground reality of studies abroad. I'll be highly obliged to get to know something about humanities stream as well in a small segment in your vlog someday. A live experience cannot be beaten by anything else. Will be looking forward to some ground information. Thanks

I spent Rs 50,000 (tuition fee) for my BE Mechanical in India. Rs 40,00,000 (tuition fee and living cost) for ME Oil and Gas in Australia. I completed my undergrad in July 2006 and postgrad in December 2009. I am unemployed till date since completing my masters degree in Australia. Zero return on investment. 😁

No, you don't have to. Think and plan smartly, like Harnoor. If you do take a loan, make plans for yourself beforehand. Watch his other videos with students who paid their College tuition before even graduating. Studying abroad is very expensive, I agree, but if you have the passion and you are willing to put the hardwork, money won't be a problem. All the best :)

I am also studying at Penn State University. Yes fees are tad high, exact cost of complete masters program including medical insurance are $ 52k. you can stay on a budget, which costs $ 500 per month. there are lots of on campus jobs which help you in paying rent and bills. and yes getting scholarships for masters is difficult because it is a research based university but thus PhD students have wayyy more privileges, and yes getting jobs is difficult, but isn't it in most of the uni for all international students. but 85% of people I know had jobs in their hands before they graduated, unfortunately many of the offers got revoked given the situation

Hey Harnoor, Why did you say that the amount of practical knowledge you could not have got anywhere else? I mean that the course curriculum of US universities and Indian universities is pretty much same. I study at IIIT Gwalior. You can learn everything online and practical knowledge(I mean, it only requires a PC...lol, you don't need high-end labs). Even if you want to work abroad, you can easily do that by gaining 1-2 years of work experience in India.
