Loving the videos! I know you've heard it a couple videos back, but the 6 speed conversion would be sweet! I think that would be the only video out there on it, if you could do comparisons of the 5 to 6 speed mpgs and stuff! Also can't wait for the wife max tune as well! Keep up the great stuff man!

Fully understand, but you are making the best of it all. The project looks great and is coming along fantastically. Like I said, no need to rush the build. On another note... what have you got in mind for a exhaust system ? , diff covers ? Larger breaks ? Air bags [load leveling] ? .... all good items to install while the body is off... I am just casting...lol.. I know you guys have a plan.. looking forward to seeing what's next. It's been fun to watch. A great winter project....

Why 5.9L cummins? The 5.9L P pump motors are good motors but not as great as the internet tries to convince you. If youlike cummins or just want to brag you got a Cummins why go 5.9L 12 vavlve like everybody. Theres a lot of different Cummins motors. You want to impressive someone do a 8.3L cummins or big cam Cummins swap. Everyone does a 6BT or 4BT swap. Do any other Cummins swap ans blow they mind cause if you tell someone you have a Cummins every fan boy automatically thinks 6BT. Go 6CTA or Big cam and watch the confusion ensue...

Goerend is the best converter out there I really like them I put a few of them behind cummins never had a issue

As a senior the Chevy would probably suit better as they are also normally lower to the ground. The ride is about the same. 6 speed is the way to go over a 5 speed mostly just for highway rpms

Just wanted to say to fellow allison owners. Be aware of off brand spin on trans filters. Like on ebay. Mine blew thought i ruined it. Cost me a tow plus some shop time.

Hey truck master great video bro im about 45 minutes away from PPE i just ordered a ordinance style oil filter and already did the bigger trans oil filter. Anyways im planning on doing a trans build soon, glad to see the use of their clutch kit. Not sure if its worth it or not but regardless if possible make a how to video on converting a 2wd to 4x4. I know the basics on whats needed, there just isnt any content online on how it all goes and all you would need to spend on. Might be a cool video anyways goodluck.

Besides extra cost, is there any disadvantage to doing the six speed conversion? I know that it is all extra money right now but I was curious if there was another reason why you might not do it.

I have a built Allison behind a Cummins Had the full transgo kit installed and just did a six-speed swap and new standalone harness can I get away from the issues mentioned with tuning or does the transgo need to be removed to shift right?

Just watching the first 4 mins of the video we know thay trans gonna be getting get 6th gear unlocked. I belive the video is to show the Allison being rebuilt to be better than OEM and to handle alot more power and better shifting without burning up . but the 6th gear mod not being done on purpose so Josh can do a video on unlocking 6th the correct way in his garage...

the c2s do not come with the black kolenes anymore.we use the steels that come in the kit.
