While your place is definitely decorated nicely and you’re thriving (which is the most important thing). I’m absolutely saddened for you younger folks. I’m in my 40’s. My family has been here since the late 90’s. I lived in Scottsdale in a nice place, 2/2 over 1200 sq ft w a damn garage for lil less than that in the early 2000’s. To hear you say that $1200 is cheap. Blows my mind!!!

Beautiful apartment. For me, I wouldn’t like the bathroom in the bedroom, like if you have guests over, but it’s absolutely great for the majority of other days when it’ll just be me alone.

I had a similar one bedroom apartment when I was starting out after college. I kept the wall decorations rather simple, I guess that's because I hate clutter. When I did move out to a small house I bought the furniture that came with the apartment. The apartment was sort of furnished with some basic pieces. My landlord wanted more for the existing furniture, but he did accept what I offered (200 dollars) in the end. I guess he wanted to rent it unfurnished. I drive by it now and wonder what it looks like now. It was a former long term stay complex.

No Amazon and Wayfair got some really good

Hey, Tyson! I love your new place. Congrats. My first place was a studio, and from a studio to a one-bedroom, and from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom when a boyfriend moved in (back when such apartments in Phoenix were about $350/month LOL). Anyway, enjoy living alone. There's a lot to be said for it. I wish they weren't charging you so much for rent, though - but the Valley is expensive and Scottsdale is prime. I'm lucky because I now have a two-bedroom condo, which is just the right amount of space. Maybe I'll see you out and about sometime!

Very well decorated home. I’m paying $1500 for the same size unit in Chandler, and that’s just rent alone. Next year I’ll move out to somewhere cheaper. Maybe we’ll be neighbors.

I have a home here in Mesa but I had a 1650 a month for a 1 bedroom when my wife and I separated. Rents crazy here. Love the vibe bruuda

I like the apartment, you have decorated it nicely. Maybe you could have paid a little more attention to colors. My furnishings & rugs are all in shades of blue, grey, black & white. No other colors!😂 Actually, why do you need an apartment at all? With OF you can work from practically anywhere in the world. (From any B&B, hotel room, etc.) You have the time. Pack your backpack. You're free to go wherever you want to go. Finally, you can travel the world! Yay! Everyone dreams of it! No? You can't? You don't want to? What is holding you back?🤔 (I told you.😉)

We all know it, but, $1200 is way too high for that space. I wish people in power could fix it so rent was reflective of the space and just not intentionally expensive. In saying that, he's made it look quite nice.

Granted Scottsdale is one of the richest cities in Arizona. 😂 but I bet you have lots of fun there. You could get a whole house in Tucson for this much.
