So nice to see you taking your son out hunting. He's such a polite and courteous little boy.....thanking his guide right after he got the Buck! And the way he is with his little brother; so caring and nurturing. I love seeing a Dad so close and supportive to his kids. And then cooking up the food and your son saying 'Grace' and eating your meal together. You're doing a great job as a parent. Raising some great kids and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Omg......why am I getting teary eyed?!? Ok.....I'll stop!! That was just so nice to watch.

Gabe. I love how you have taught your sons the love of God and Jesus Christ. It's a rare thing nowadays, which is very sad. I know that they're young boys, but they'll grow into fine men one day. Well done brother, keep it up. I don't have any living children. My ONLY son/daughter was miscarried in early 2015. I then lost my fiance in August of 2017. My son/daughter would be 5 this month. I miss my fiance, Rhonna, and my little one that I NEVER got to know. But, I know that my little one is in Heaven with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and his/her Momma.👍👍👍. I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved ones. I can empathize with the loss of an unborn child. I myself had two miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy before having my one child; she's now 19yo. @@heatherd.9390 Thank you for your extremely kind comment, it's very, very, appreciated. I miss Rhonna very much, but I know that she's in Heaven. She's been getting to know our little one for a little over 2 years now. Rhonnas mom passed away this year in mid January. I'd been taking care of her for nearly 2 years before she passed away. She's now in Heaven with Rhonna and her grandchild, my ONLY child. Sandra, Rhonnas mom has been telling my little one about her/his Dad for quite a while now. I get sad sometimes, but it's a GREAT comfort to know that my little one is in Heaven with Jesus and surrounded by family members. I know that you understand what I'm saying. You yourself have had the same losses as well. Take comfort in knowing that your unborn children are with Jesus. They are perfect and have not had to suffer in this evil hate filled world. They may be young adults now, and I'm sure that they can't wait for you to arrive in Heaven. You are going to have an awesome family reunion with them in the very near future. literally every video i watch of kids hunting w/ their parents, they ALL say thank you, and are so well mannered and polite. they KNOW they're only allowed to join dad and do this because they've shown their ability and maturity, and they absolutely don't want to lose the privilege

Jaesen Johns I can some what agree with you but the 223 does a good job that’s what I started out with and would drop deer all the time with it. The 223 a good starter I moved up to a 30-06 since then but when I was this kids age that’s what I started with and it got the job done with ease only issue with the 223 it could sometimes be hard to track blood since it not that big of a round.

I've watched this video numerous times and every time I watch it it just makes me think to myself wow Gabriel you're an awesome dad and it's awesome that you take your kids hunting and teach them the safeties of everything that you do and the fact that they're cooking it at such a young age most kids these days too lazy to do that kind of stuff your kids are amazing much respect to you and your family and I would love to go hunting or fishing with you one day I love watching your videos and your brothers videos and ur girlfriends videos y'all keep up the good work I'm originally from Atlanta but I live in Tampa would love to meet u one day💯💯💯

All my kids love cooking. It takes 3 times as long and 10x as much mess as if I did it myself, but they have fun and it teaches appreciation for their food.

I give lots of props to the he is literally teaching his son whether the boy knows it or not stuff that he will need to know how to do things when he gets older he is learning now whether he knows it or not I know he's only nine years old but I'm going to tell you this now what nine-year-old do you know that is actually mature enough to cook deer meat not many kids that I know at nine years old that knows how to work in the oven and cook deer meat at at that you know most nine year olds are playing video games and screaming for Mama or daddy to cook them food and all you know so this is the stuff that I say that this world is missing morals and knowledge have took a back seat it's very rare you see kids learning how to do stuff that is going to help them in their life so I just want to say to the dad again very good job man you are an awesome father I wish I had a dad like you when I was younger I didn't so I had to learn everything on my own my mother was my father God rest her soul and she taught me a lot so and now I teach my children the same thingback in the 80s and the 90s this is the stuff that nine-year-old used to do and knew how to do it and didn't have to worry about burning down the house now these days you can't they pick up the phone and they order food everything's backwards good job dad and good job little man you were going to make an awesome chef one day he do send me some of that filet mignon backstrap that's the best on a dear got it is so delicious

I love that you involve your boys! I have three, and they hunted and fished with me. They all joined the Army like their father and grandfathers. No pressure was exerted! We did our best to raise them right, but they made the choices to make us proud!

You know it’s one thing to have a great time and to shoot your biggest to date buck and be surrounded by great people but as the adrenaline is pumping and your ears are ringin and one of the very first things Jake says is “Thank you so much” man I got chills!! Very respectful in my book! #BlueGabe you got some good kids brother. This video speaks volumes and it’s nice to see kids being raised right!! We have... We've been doing this a long time. Those are not the kind of bucks that we want on our properties. When they get older, they can become the dominant buck in an area and keep the bucks we want off of the place. It's not always genetics that classify a cull buck. Most of the time, bucks that have one side of their rack messed up like that is because of a parasite. If they have the parasite, 9 times out of 10, they will always be like that.

Gabe, I killed my 1st buck when I was 6. I am now 66. I shot the buck in the neck and my granddad had taught me to shoot behind the shoulder... My response was "I saw all that good meat and did not want to ruin it". I know all about buck fever. Way to go little one!

Wow brother great video. I do have to ask that was the first time I'd seen in Arrington wear lace-up shoes is that a stipulation from their mother LOL. Jake Slade that thing and he was about to jump out of his skin when he couldn't shoot that first buck moments from a breakdown LOL. Tell him great job on the buck and on the venison. That was a great video. I do appreciate the quality and time you put into this sir. Can’t wait for the next adventure.
