Brilliantly done 👍 I am a child of the 1970’s got back into collecting vintage Action man 10 years age it’s like an obsessive drug addiction I have a office man cave at home and it’s got all my collection out on display . When people come over all I get as a reaction is OMG it’s amazing and put the child back in there stressed adult lives , I love this obsession once the kids left home my wife said let’s make the man cave I always wanted 😊I sit in there for hours looking and displaying stuff it’s my happy place never loose your inner child it’s good for the soul and great fun collecting our little action friend . We used to love action men as when we were kids. I had that motorbike, and tank and god knows what else, I remember the frogman! He was a favorite. We used to put bullet holes in our action men with a school compass lol.... complete with blood! I also remember the action man board game.. had that too :) I also remember the fingers always used to fall off too lol

Another Awesome Toy Tuesday! :D I was feeling crap all day about another month of lockdown, then BOOM! Toy Tuesday appears! - which means I get transported back to my childhood, full of happy toy playing memories and no bills to pay! I had an action man back in the day, I spent hours moving his eyes and launching him from my bedroom window! BTW the clip with Action Man with Barbie in the tent was genius LOL, nearly spat my tea out haha! Thank you again for transporting us all back to the best days of our lives!

One of my favourites, was the Airfix Fn Rifle.. I had the machine gun, it fired grey plastic bullets, the snag was the barrels of the guns were weak and broke easily, apart from that, as child it was a great toy to have.

Loving the videos Mark, I remember getting the Red Devil action man costume with parachute for Christmas. Going up to fit his costume on and of course throwing him out of my bedroom window with the idea of him majestically floating down to the ground. Anyway the reality was my dad having to get ladders and climb up on the roof to get him down. Looking for the day i can visit your menagerie of memories. Best wishes Jim

My dad had the moving eyes action man that talked when you pulled a cord on his back. I never had one.

That was a memory jogger! I remember having a couple of Action Men back in the 60's! I'm pretty sure one of them talked, and the other wore a deep sea diver suit which was white, and I think he had like metal plates that fitted on his feet, and the diving helmet unscrewed. I might not be totally correct on the details. After it was over 50 years ago! I seem to remember a rolled up map in a circular cannister too.

Awesome video and I did have Action Man but never really took off with me as I was mega into Star Wars and Lego. That said I did have the large Armoured 10 wheeler tactical tank that I loved to sit on and launch myself down hills as a kid lol

Great video, thanks. The Action Man line was easily available in France in the sixties. Unfortunately my parents could not afford them as Christmas presents. I took my revenge a couple of years ago in a parisian auction, where I purchased the iconic GI Joe Mercury Space capsule, complete with box, spacesuit, helmet, boots and gloves. All I had to do was to buy a recent GI Joe replica for 11 euros, suit up the guy and strap him in the cockpit for his first trip into space!
