My airsoft helmet Setup for Summer 2022. PTS MTEK, Earmor m32 and EXFOG Kit.

Күн бұрынDisclosure: This helmet is for Airsoft only. I am a Civilian with no military training. I simply play airsoft for fun.
Finished a little project I've been working on for some time. This is my current helmet setup. The base is a PTS Syndicate MTEK flux. I've added an Exfog unit secured by a replica ferro concepts NVG battery retention system. To round it out there's a hellstar 6 IR Strobe/Beacon replica and IR Reflective Ireland Patches.

I was thinking about a cover alright, it's hard to source a Greenzone helmet cover though.

@@tier1_shenanigans most likely early May. Need new boots and some sort of kit to carry p90 mags.

@@Dagger1Charlie you could actually get away with an SMG magazine insert, they'd stretch to fit the P90 mags and then mouth the insert into either a chest rig or into a "kangaroo" pouch in the front of a plate carrier

I've never seen a real steal one, that said I never went looking for one as it would be overkill for airsoft. Airsofteire.com still have the PTS ones in stock.

I am planning on putting a cover on it, but its not easy to find covers compatible for the mtek.

That's a repo Ferro Concepts PVS 31 battery retention system. Depending on where you're living it may he hard to purchase the real steal one but I recommend the Ferro over the replica.

I added everything afterwards, it took a while to get everything and to see what worked and what didn't.

They're OK for budget comms. I mainly do skirmish games so I've had no issues. If you're mad into milsim maybe spend a bit more.

Sorry bud I'm not sure what you mean by carbon piece. The helmet did not come with the pouch, its a ferro concepts repo. Its hard to get real FC bits here.

@totomusico9010 thank you. Its a nice setup although I have just changed out the ear pro mounts for amp arms. This morning will be my first time running the newer setup.

@@totomusico9010 it was definitely less cumbersome and easier to get on. I found a cheap pair of amp arms on Aliexpress.

Does the helmet mount screw come loose when you move the headset to the back of the helmet ?

I had no issues so far in the year I've been using this setup. That said I don't airsoft every weekend so it could be the case with more intensive use.

It's a good bit of money to fork out for something if you're not sure if it will fit. The PTS flux does come with 2 layers of padding you can add or remove to improve the fit.

what adapters do you use for the rail i have the same helmet and i am wanting to buy earpro also but i am concerned that the adapter wont fit

@triip000 I'm not sure, I've not used Comtac 2's. But for something highend like that I'd look to see if you could get the Unity Mount's , they're higher quality and much lower profile. You don't want to get good kit snagged on stuff.

It really depends on your budget, the most commonly used are FMA replica Ops Core helmets which are perfect for airsoft. If you have a larger budget the PTS mtek is comfortable.

It's a replica hellstar IR beacon. It's purely aesthetic on my helmet. Although it could function in a night game I suppose
