Part two in a series documenting my complete yard makeover project. In this episode I build a new fence, arbor, concrete sidewalk, plant bushes and flowers in two new planters, with weed barrier, rock ground cover and a new drip irrigation system. Complete side yard renovation.

curious buddy why do you have two meter bases ? are you running a separate to a garage. Nice work btw:)

Thanks, and it’s actually a duplex I built quite a few years ago, and recently moved back into. It was easiest to put both services on one side because it was closest to city power.

I've never seen anyone cut expansion joints into concrete before. I've only seen them done with the edging tool. Why did you choose to cut them? The finished project looks awesome, BTW.

I don’t do a ton of concrete work, and whereas I was finishing it by myself it was one less thing to do if the concrete decided to set up fast. Thanks!
