Hi, Welcome to my channel! My name is Emma I’m 16 years old from the U.K. and I’m currently sharing my recovery journey from anorexia!

You’re so amazing. You’re beautiful and strong. I’m so glad you’re talking about eating disorders. It’s stigmatized so much in so many places. When it’s not stigmatized it’s glorified. It refreshing to see such a real content creator on this site. You’re such an inspiration and I’m glad you’re getting better

Im currently going through recovery and I am through depression and I keep relapsing but you inspired me to do this for my health not for vanity and to get my heart strong again thank you so much!

I am very happy that you are better now and recovering ♥ I have anorexia and I am in recovery too and the saddest thing is that when I was at my healthy weight, my own family called me fat and I never went, so , I had the anorexia that was getting worse and worse until I stopped in the hospital 😔 Lucky that I was prevented from to continue with this because it is a path with no return🙏 We are warriors and we are winning this "little" devil 👊

Wow. Your story was very moving. Believe it or not, I struggled with anorexia as well. I was down to 81 lbs before I was hospitalized. I wish anorexia and the issues of a negative body image was talked about more so girls in the 21st century felt safe and secure in their beautiful, cute bodies. As women, we are the definition of sexy, no matter what our size. If you’d like, feel free to check out my story: 82 lbs, now I’m obese. I’d love to get your insight. Much love girl.

Sorry to hear you also struggled with anorexia, I'll for sure check out your story! I agree more people need to be aware of eating disorder and how quickly they can happen, I for one wish i was more educated on the matter before all of this happened but it just means I will work harder to try and give as much info as possible in order to help prevent more people from getting an ed but diet culture especially around the new years gives girls such insecurities, we are beautiful no matter what our weight is!

I related to this so so much, I’m going through a very dark time with my anorexia right now, I’m getting assessed on Monday to be sectioned in patient, could you do a story time on in patient next please? Xx

Hi! This video was really refreshing because it doesn't glamorise anorexia like a lot of others I've seen.. I live in the uk too - was the facility you mentioned in Middlesbrough called evergreen, west lane hospital? I live in Newcastle and i was in the same situation lol :) thank you for sharing your story!

Great video!!! At what bmi did you have to be on bed rest?

Laura B. There’s not really a weight/BMI to be to be on bed rest. Sure, 100% lots of hospitals (and countries) do stuff differently and obviously if you get admitted into the hospital etc, you’ll probably be surely on bed rest or nearly. But I know in general treatment centers for eating disorders, if you do not eat, they put you on bed rest so that you can be extremely supervised by care (and also not getting any exercise whatsoever besides walking to the bathroom.) After that comes NG tubing. That was my experience (or how my treatment center in the USA) did it

Lots of people with anorexia feel like this, BUT NO ITS JUST YOUR ED TELLING YOU THIS BECAUSE ULTIMATELY ALL YOUR ED WANTS FOR YOU IS DEATH! Even you thinking this is horrible, and you need to tell someone. You don’t need to be hospitalised to validate your ed! Recovery brings so much, your freedom!
