There is also a button in the cargo area to lower the back end down for loading and unloading. I use it when putting my 2 pitbulls in the back. Also the car will stop itself if it thinks you are going to hit something. I have been backing in the garage to quickly and this happens. Love my sq5. Wheel shopping for it now. The parking assist doesn't search for a parking spot, it searches for 2 reference points (2 cars) and a spot inbetween them to classify it as a parking spto

For Park Assist use the turn signal indicator & it will then determine whether left or right side parking. The Sport Differential is not a gimmick. If Macan performance levels are desired, particularly during cornering at very high speeds it is a requirement particularly with the air suspension set to Dynamic to apply power to the all-well drive system to stabilize the car. The heads-up display in conjunction with the navigation system will include point to point directions. The Audi Beam Rings are helpful in the dark in the wet to avoid puddles. There are also lighted door handles & ability to touch lock the car from any of the 4 door handles

It's hard to use the HUD wearing sunglasses but for long night drives it really comes in handy. I love the puddle lights.. especially helpful passengers getting off the car.

Some cars even raise the suspension automatically based on location. Like if you have a steep driveway it does it automatically.

I have to say all the people i spoke to, once they had heads up display they wont ever get another car without it. but i can also see why it is a distraction...when pedal shifting sport cars you have to look down at your RPMs etc. But the RS & Ms & AMGs actually display RPMs in the heads up so you can ditch the tachometer.

Favorite is the air ride--parking is gimmick.

(B9.5 SQ5) I love my Heads up display, one the reasons for me to go with a Prestige. The Parking assist is not that great. I really do like the Drive assist, Sign recongition, and cruise control. Going on the long road trips and it changing the speed on its own is awesome.

I have similar completation on my S4 Avant, the most useful features to me are the Matrix light, Adaptive dampers (magnetic on S4), the B&O then the sport diff. I can cruise with my baby/dog confortably and when I'm alone Dynamic and it's just a fun beast :D

HUD is nice for long distance highway travel, especially when... in a rush

My mom has a b9 prestige Q5 and i have a b9 prestige S4 and she has park assist and i don’t. So i think the park assist is only on q5/sq5

Yeah I didn’t know about this feature either until after I had bought my 2020 S for premium plus😢 I definitely would’ve went for a prestige model if I knew that I thought premium plus was the highest

I don't know if this is new in US, but all this with parking assist, lane assist and speed signs camera etc is something I have on my 2012 A7 in Europe. Speed signs also shows in HUD btw.

Fun fact. I bought a used 2018 SQ5 Prestige in MI but my SQ5 was a Canadian VIN. I have the sport package with sport diff, red calipers, but standard suspension. I do not believe I have park assist either. So apparently the Candian models had different options. Also the sign recognition can adjust speed automatically when using adaptive cruise. It can auto lower or increase your speed as it reads the signs and can be a pain. If it sees a school zone sign it will auto brake down to 25 in a 55 and it happens aggressively. Did it to me on a weekend so obviously no need and caught me off guard

Mods!!! Rear bumper with real exhaust tips!!! I think BKM makes a RS looking one with oval exhaust, looks mad!! I know you cN just cut the fake ones and fill it with clean exhaust tips, but the BKM kind of looks nice!! Nice to see you back on a SQ5, I got a 2017 B8 and I do want a B9 for the tech inside!!

I have a 2014 S6 and a Volvo XC90, both of which have the heads up display that I love. Definitely not worth paying Audi for the puddle lights. I recently got them for the S6 from Enthusiast Brands for $60 for all 4 doors. You can even choose if you want the rings or other designs.

Flood lights from ebay always burn out really quick. Quality on oem ones are worth imo

I’ve tried both the $20 laser lights and eventually purchased the $180 OEM Audi rings. The $20 version looks crispy for about 2 week before it becomes distorted and has holes in the picture. Eventually the image burns away. Either stock up on several $20 ones or buy the oem version once and be done with It.

air suspension... awesome Park assist... are for the fearful and/or lazy Heads-up display for speed gauge, turn-by-turn nav... I prefer it than looking down the dash Speedlimit sign recognition of Audi... not 100% accurate B&O I'm sure you balling with those

So in the B9 sq5 if u see red calipers is means u have air suspension? I ordered a prestige on Carmax and It didn't list sport package but it has red calipers. I feel like most SQ5s I see with red calipers.

You said red brake calipers mean it has a sport package which includes sport diff. Is this the same for B8.5 S4? Currently looking to buy one and a lot of sellers have no actual idea if their car has a sport diff. What are some other signs that it has a sport diff, aside from looking under the rear of the car. I've heard drive select button means it has a sport diff, but I actually see a lot of people disagree on that on forums. Great videos, keep it up!

Not all B9s with the prestige pkg has park assist. Just fyi. I have a B9 SQ5 prestige. S sport. Etc. Only option it doesn’t have is park assist. But it does have ACC and lane assist and traffic jam assist. It will literally drive itself. Lol

Expect to get constant mail from Sirius to renew your subscription. My dad's GTI came with a couple months of Sirius and he got mail from them for about a year before they gave up. I've only ever driven one car that had a HUD and I felt like my eyes were going cross eye

This is only on 19 and up prestige models for the S4 in NA. Not sure about the year on the SQ5.

air suspension cool until it's start having issues. Mine was a nightmare in my S6 always faults and hard to diagnose. And I only rode in dynamic so I could have definitely went without it

Its a gimmick for us car guys. But for your lady friends. Its a great plus 👍🤙 my gf would probably get stressed out over parking in a crowded hard to park area.
