The start of the video is about when my uncle beat the shit out of my little brother for fighting with my little sister. he left him black and blue. My brother was only about about 7-8 at the time. My parents did nothing to stop my uncle nor did they press charges. I have an odd relationship with my little brother. Not only am I his sister but from a young age I had to take on the emotional duties of his mother due to our mom and dad being shitty people.
He is my baby even if hes only 4 years younger than me. He is my child (in my heart) and I love him and am so proud of how far he's come.

Oh that's so unfortunate for you to have to take the role of the caretaker for your younger brother, but that just proves that your a bigger person for being able to take care of your younger brother. And even more unfortunate info is the case that it's more common than you'd think for the older sibling to take the role of the caretaker for their younger sibling or siblings, I was in a similar but vastly different boat than what you went through.

you're so strong for taking care of your brother. for protecting him from the toxicity, keeping him safe. it's really wholesome. i don't know you, but i feel like you're a truly precious person. you're so strong despite everything you've gone through. you broke the cycle of abuse, which is so amazing... it shows how strong you are.

This genuinely made me sob, i don't usually comment that much but i really hope you and your brother are alright now, if not i hope you both have the chance to be in a better place in the future because you both definitely deserve it. I'm really sorry if you both have to go through all of this right now.

This is a very unfortunate situation to be in. But it’s a good thing to have stepped up and given love to your younger brother. I’ve heard many people talk about horrible things they have said and done to their younger siblings, especially those who’ve grown up in an Abusive environment. I am so glad you did your best to break these Generational issues.

This reminded me of myself I have a autistic brother he’s six rn and my parents constantly threaten to beat him Mostly my mom, like I was spanked as a kid sometimes wayyy too hard from my dad but only a few times they would threaten to beat me (IK thyere sooo good for that) and I have to be the one every time to keep them from doing that, bringing my brother to either mine or his room to play with him so he’ll feel better I genuinely think he’s my child I love him to death and I’d do anything for my brother.

I'm so sorry for what you've been through. Your uncle and parents are horrible people and shouldn't even be called family to you and your brother. You're such an amazing caretaker/second mother towards your brother. I hope everything goes well. Please stay safe.
