One of the best things about being pregnant is the excuse to go on holiday. This is my babymoon and we are off to Mauritius for a one week at a five star resort.
So, this is not our typical type of holiday. Normally we are very active and explore many different cities and places during our holidays abroad. Usually we do not stay in one place for longer than 2-3 days. However, as we are getting over the pandemic, we didn't want to travel on local buses, trains, etc. Also being in the last couple weeks of my second trimester we thought we'd take it easy and really soak up all the moments of just being the two of us before our baby arrives.
In this video I delve into our stay at the LUX* Grand Gaube resort. We had an amazing time and even though resorts aren't our thing we were so surprised we didn't get bored. The resort had so many activities which are all free including watersports (water skiing, kayaking, kite surfing, paddle boarding, snorkelling, wind surfing), barista class, cocktail making, message in a bottle treasure hunt, taking bicycles out and so much more. Additionally, the restaurants had different theme/cuisines and so you would never get bored of eating off the same menu time and time again.
We would definitely like to go back on holiday here. We had such a fantastic time and it was exactly what we needed to recharge.
