I'm glad y'all didn't go down that side channel off of Morrison Spring. That's a bad bit of water. I'm also interested to see where y'all camped. I checked the map and I didn't see a lot of good places for campsites between Holmes Creek and Ebro. Thanks for posting, and thanks for the drone footage.

We found an excellent spot that night. It was next to a boat ramp. We got in real late after dark and kind of stealth camp there. We were tuckered out! Yes, there were some sketchy places where the river behaved in some weird ways. Do you boat down there often?

@@oursimplestorychannel I've kayaked the entire upper Choc (East, West, and Little) all the way down to Highway 2. I've kayaked the delta, and I've kayaked around Morrison Spring. I"ve even kayaked Holmes Creek ... but that stretch in this video is the one part of the river I've never been on, that's why I was so interested in campsite availability.

@@warren-freshoffthevinemedia oh wow, you've done some serious exploring! Yes, there is definitely a lot of camp spots in this area depending on how primitive you're willing to be. As you get down into the delta area, the banks are swampier and it becomes harder to find high and dry ground on which to sleep. We need to paddle together sometime!

Hey, thanks for the kind words! I fly a Mavic Air 2. I love it. I went ahead and got my FAA license to fly it commercially and started a business called Circle a city Aerial Photography. I’m trying to get into the real estate market with it.
