I have two bad movie expierences the first was when I saw Spider-Man homecoming I went with my brothers and in the previews the audio wasn’t working we could not hear anything and we went to complain and they told us they were working on it and then when the actual movie started we still didn’t hear anything so we went to get a refund and someone came and said that they are going or play the movie in a different room without previews but afterwards they gave us a free ticket from the inconvenience so not so bad other than that and when I went to see kingsman the golden circle I went to watch the movie in RPX and this was the first time I saw a movie in RPX and then within the first few minute I covered my ears because of the opening with the taxi fight and It was so loud I had my ears covered the whole time and it was hard to hear

When going to see Iron Man 2, I was there with 2 of my friends and we were all waiting in line. As we were just about to walk into the theater, a girl came up to me and said "This may sound weird, but my ex-boyfriend is here with another girl. Would you pretend to be my boyfriend for the night?" She was cute, I said yes, and we dated for about a month. That was probably the most random thing that has ever happened to me.

The first movie I remember seeing in cinemas was Cars 2 My best experience was seeing Endgame, because the audience was really engaged with the movie (which doesn’t happen often in the U.K.). Another great experience was when the force awakens came out, because I saw it on Christmas Eve at like 5pm, and the cinema was still full and lively - just the buzz of Star Wars being back, and seeing it on Christmas Eve was great. I think that my worst was at a really nice local cinema, when I went to see toy story 4. Loved the movie, except there was some people a couple of rows behind me sleeping loudly.

BEST: - watching Infinity War and the audience going crazy - that was truly amazing - went to watch Deadpool 2 and there was a power failure half-way through the film so as they were getting the film to start up it took about 20 minutes but during that time everyone in the cinema began to bond and talk openly about the film as well as infinity war (that had come out two weeks ago at the time) so it was really good - one of the best was watching bohemian rhapsody as we went to this newly build cinema that was very modern and the cinema has this ocean theme with like the counter where you buy popcorn is a fish tank and they played the film in such high resolution it was beautiful to watch and as the film ended (it was a packed cinema with all the people around my age group which always makes it more fun) and everyone stood up cheering by the end of the film. The film has this whale tail structure on the roof and there was such a great vibe in the theatre that it was just an amazing experience. For me the WORST: - went to watch Baby Driver and this couple sitting next to me were very intimate with each other, with excessive kissing, smooching and touching of each other throughout the entire film and it was quite uncomfortable;e sitting next to them. - went to watch War for the planet of the Apes about a month and a bit after its release so the cinema was empty and it was just me and two other people sitting in this cinema and the projection was out of place so we had this giant cinema screen but the actual footage was formatted in an aspect ratio that it was square cutting off a lot of frame. - recently when I watched It: Chapter two I went to Rosebank which is a very rich and upper class area where a lot of elderly rich people live. So it was a very quite audience with most of the people above 70 except for this group of teenagers who talked the whole film and made noise. So the whole film it became this repeating cycle of the teenager making noise, and some of the older people telling them to quiet down and the teenagers making noise again and the older people quitting them down for the 2h 30min run time so it was very distracting.

My favorite theater experience: Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. Saw it at a local theater that was one of the 50 theaters in the US presenting it in 35mm! Loved it. Tarantino keeps cinema real, fresh and alive. He’s one of our only hopes/saving graces from the Hollywood system of just making shit for the money. My least favorite theater experience: Pixels. I saw it at a drive in with my mom, her long time best friend, my sister and a family member my mom’s best friend was taking care of that summer because it was the only movie they were playing that weekend and my mom wanted me to witness a movie at a drive in. If I want to see a movie at a drive in in the future I want to see something older like a hang out movie like Dazed and Confused or American Graffiti or something fun and exciting like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars: A New Hope (if they have an unaltered print which they probably won’t) or Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

My favourite cinema experience was probably Endgame. They showed Infinity War beforehand, and then Endgame at midnight, and I’ve never seen a film make people cheer, clap and shout before. My worst cinema experience was also this year, and it was fighting with my family. A fairly large group of people came in very close to the end, right in the row in front of us, and they got in the way of the screen and made a lot of noise. Firstly they fussed about who was sitting where, then they opened all of their food/drink, and then they got up because they realised that they were in the wrong screen. It wasn’t awful, but sticks out as one of the worst things to happen to me at the cinema. Also happy birthday for this week, coincidentally we share the same birthday.

I have a few memorable movie theatre memories: 1. Toy Story 3 - The first movie I remember seeing in a movie theatre. 2. Home - I saw it at a friend’s birthday party with a bunch of other kids. 3. The House with a Clock in its Walls - We were the only people in the theatre and my sister and her friend ended up staying outside the theatre for half of the movie because they were scared. 4. Godzilla Vs. Kong - The first movie I saw in a movie theatre since the pandemic started. 5. Spider-Man: No Way Home - In the scene where Ned and MJ found the other two Spider-Mans, the audience started clapping and I was on the edge of my seat.

Some of my best theater experiences: Avengers: Infinity War (10/10): This is my favorite movie of all time so of course it is one of my favorite memories. I was never more hyped for a movie. I never felt like that when I was sitting in a theater. I never felt something like that when I was leaving the theater. This was a great experience. Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (6/10): This is my least favorite Star Wars movie and I think it is meh, but I will never forget the day I saw this movie in the theater. We were sitting in a full theater waiting for the movie to start. Then the "A long time ago..." screen appeared and everyone was like: "OH MY GOD THE MOVIE STARTS!" and the whole theater was quiet. Then the music started and we were all happy that the movie finally started. But then it turned out to be a Ikea ad for a Death Star lamp and we were sitting there and were both angry that they fooled us and happy because it was really funny. Aquaman (9/10): This was the first time I watched a movie in Dolby Atmos and I also watched the movie in the biggest theater I ever watched a movie (I also watched Toy Story 4 there), so I will always remeber that My worst experience: Sing (4/10): This is the worst animated movie I have ever seen. (There are definitely worse out there but I haven't seen them yet.) This movie almost killed my interest in animated movies. During the entire movie I was like: "This is really bad! I'm definitely to old to watch animated movies." I wasn't that much into movies back then, but now I know that I should definitely look which studio made the movie because studios like Pixar are making amazing movies. But Illumination still sucks. So it was not just a bad movie, but also a very bad experience. Thanks for reading!

We have both very similar opinions! Avengers: Infinity War is also one of my favorite movies ever, but I prefer Endgame. I also think that The Last Jedi is the worst Star Wars movie. It sucks. And Aquaman is one of the greatest DCEU movies (next to Birds Of Prey) And Sing sucks, yes, but it’s not the worst animated movie. The worst animated movie is actually the worst movie ever! And I’m of course talking about Food Fight... 🤢🤢🤮🤮

Bad: Went to see ‘Christopher Robin’ with the family. We went to a Studio Movie Grill. The food was cold and came super late. Then about 2/3 of the way through the film the man behind us... ANSWERS his phone for about a minute he has a conversation on his phone. Good: Seeing ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. As a kid growing up as the prequels were leaving theaters I always thought about how tragic it was that I would never see my favorite franchise on the big screen. However, when they introduced the new trilogy I will never forget the chills and cheers from the crowd when the glistening ‘LucasFilm’ title shimmered in the silent backdrop. Absolutely. Breathtaking.

The worst movie experience I had was Hobbs and Shaw this summer. Every time a loud sound affect would occur (a.k.a punch, scream, gun, car rev, explosion a.k.a the whole movie) a loud crackling sound would replace it. It sounded like a bad signal radio the whole time. It made the movie way worse for me.

Not that I hate 3D, I love it but this time it just felt so uncomfortable. So I just had to take them off and watch it with the blurs The movie could have just been fine if they showed it in 2D.🤦‍♂️

In the middle of our opening day of the force awakens screening, a bat was in the theater so someone pulled the fire alarm and we all had to evacuate. When we went back no one could find their seats so a fight broke out. People were yelling a teacher and dropping f bombs so my dad was then yelling at them to stop swearing in front of kids. Women were screaming “call the cops” in their New York accents. I was literally crying, and wanted to go home (I was like nine) When the screen finally came back on, the 3D we were watching it in didn’t work. Ten minutes later, they 3D started to kick on.

My favorite movie experience is Avengers: Endgame. I got tickets about a day too late, but I managed to get one ticket for opening night. I wanted to see it with some friends, but I had to see it by myself. I thought I would enjoy it less without my friends, but I was wrong. Before the movie started, I spoke with the people on my left and right. They were both by themselves. Throughout the film, it was almost as if we bonded and created a friendship without even getting to know each other well. Screaming and crying together created a bond between us and made the film experience great.

Best: sitting in the theater, back in 2015 just seeing the Lucasfilm logo, and the loud theme queues right as the words “Star Wars” come fly into the screen. Some of my favorite theater experiences: Endgame - Probably my favorite theater experience that I'll remember for the rest of my life Edge of Tomorrow - I was the only one in the theater in a massive auditorium at midnight and the movie itself blew me away. It was the most blissful two hours of my life Coco - One of the best and worst theater experiences I've had. The best because I absolutely loved the movie, definitely one of the most emotional animated movies I've ever seen and my favorite Pixar movie. The worst because there were like 5 fireflies flying around the theater and there was this man with some sort of disability sitting up front where he would just blurt out a loud grunt every 2 minutes. The Hateful 8 (70mm) - Saw this at midnight with my dad because the 9:00 showing was sold out, so we killed about 3 hours walking around town. It ended at 3 am and both me and my dad loved it Finding Nemo / Finding Dory - The theater was playing both Finding Nemo and Finding Dory back-to-back in 3D Avengers: Age of Ultron - Currently the only movie I've seen in theaters twice in the same day. Saw it once at noon and again at midnight Jurassic Park - Saw this a couple years ago at a computer graphics conference and watched it in a massive concert hall at midnight with the two visual effect artists that worked on the movie Ford vs. Ferrari - Besides Endgame, my favorite theater experience this year. Saw it in IMAX and the sound / visuals were incredible

My best Theater Experience: Star wars: The Force Awakens This was more so because of the things that happened before the movie started; on the font of the stage, there was a was an employee dressed as Darth Vader explaining the general moviegoing rules (Cell Phones off, Be respectful in the movie theater, Inner Voices, etc.); but in a intimidating Darth Vader matter and another employee says. "We hope you enjoy the experience" The Worst Theater Experience: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 I really enjoyed the film overall, but the worst part was that it was in a sensory theater room; Meaning no dimmed lights or anything. That and the projector had a rough time getting the movie started.

Best: When DDP's documentary about Jake the Snake came out, there was a Q&A screening so I went to that. Just by pure randomness, I sat DDP and his family and also took pics with Edge and RVD. Worst: Saw the Hunger Games 1 in a packed theater. On both sides of me were 2 moms and their kids (early elementary school); they came in late (about 20 minutes into the movie) the kids would not shut up and were constantly asking questions. When the Games started and people were dying, all 4 kids would not stop crying at the teenagers dying. With about 30 minutes to go, I said screw it and moved to the front row side so I could enjoy the rest of the movie.

My best was actually seeing Joker not too long ago. A friend and I work at a movie theater so him and I, a coworker, and two more friends went to see it in our biggest screen the Wednesday before it came out. We were all obviously excited, almost the most excited I've been for a movie (behind force awakens). I bargained with my mom to go, we hung out before, and then we went, best seats in the house, just the five of us truly experiencing the cultural event and cinematic ride that the movie was. We then sat around in the theatre for a half hour discussing what we'd just witnessed, to the wonderful sound of "Send in the Clowns" and the films incredible score.

Hello from Slovenia. Movie theaters here arean't usually even half full here but this one time they were all. It was 2010 I think and my dad and my brother went to see the new slovenian film called "Gremo mi po svoje". First we went to the biggest cinema in the the country to see its premire and the seats were all taken, so we went to another one which was also full and rhen to another and then to another.... Finall after about 5 tries we found a very little cinema, which didn't even a receptionist I think and so we rushed in not even paying for tickets. Almost all of the seats were taken except the three ones in the first row somehow. It was such an amazing experince and the movie also ended up being one of my alltime favourites. It starred Jurij Zrnec who is bassically a slovenian version of Bill Murray
