2021 was the year that I REALLY started to explore how to sew my dream wardrobe. So I thought it could be fun to look back and try on everything I made over the past 12 months and talk through the process whether it was DIY'd from scratch or upcycled from thrifted pieces along with my learnings and tips in case you feel inspired to adding it to your own me-made list!
Going through these and reflecting on what's come to life this past year made me So happy and excited for what's yet to come!

LOVE the 1/4 length zip "jumper"! Your creations are so inspiring. My mother in law gifted me an amazing Janome Memory Craft 6500 and I am on a mission to learn how to use it. I have this passion building in me to learn how to create my own clothes with ethically sourced and clean material. I'm also very inspired by beautiful vibrant patterns like Farm Rio uses in their clothing. I can't wait to learn and create! I'll be referring back to many of your videos! I love everything you made! I made your white sleeveless ruffle/tiered dress with a light periwinkle/blue linen and I feel like Belle from Beauty and the Beast every time I wear it, especially if I have a top underneath, haha. Hi Maddy, I’ve loved all your diy’s this year, and have irl made 2 tops myself, with another planned! I like the top tutorials especially for “jeans and a nice top” outfits and because they are so approachable to try for yourself. The towelling set would be an absolute dream for me, but I need a little more sewing confidence first! Thanks for sharing and I’m excited for this years content 💛

I actually made the Tiered dressed with tied straps. It was the first thing that I've ever sewn and worn for myself. I made it out of old T-shirts. Thank you for helping me make it Maddy. So much fun.

I loveeee the long sleeve tie front top at the end of the video, that’s definitely my next project piece! So gorgeous! My favorite garment I made from your channel was a long quilted jacket that I followed your blanket jacket tutorial to garment map. I wear it all the time it’s definitely become a staple in my wardrobe!

It's so satisfying to see it all together 😍🤩also impossible to pick one favourite... so I'll have to list all of them! My most ambitious project for this year is swimwear because you inspired me, so 🤞, it goes well! I finally found a gingham fabric for the front tie top with the long sleeves! And I think about the vintage slip dress with the gather bust detail so often! I guess if I had to choose, my favourite would be the green wrap dress. 🥝🍏🥑Thank you for all the inspiration, tips, and motivation in 2021, Maddy. Cant wait to see what you get up to this year😍💖
