Being tall I had a similar problem with cable length on my standing desks at home and work so I wound up welding open frames to hold my computers and then bolted them to the frames underneath the desktops.

It does seem that I go with this "quick and dirty" kind of workflow, too. But I do want to do it in a way that is both for actual rendering (therefore topology is important) as well as the potential for 3D printing, so when I do want these precision tools, I just need to do it for precise angles, measurements, etc. Haven't tried CADSketcher in earnest yet, but it does seem I don't need to.

What timing, I just put a new version of Blender on my PC and used your old video to reset it up for precision. After doing so, this video comes out.

Print quality on the close up made me think your profile needs tweaking then I noticed the protective casing/fan duct for the hot end - shocking print quality from their factory
