Being a person who grew up eating jerky and making it myself on my dehydrator I have to say that the Beyond jerky is fantastic. It tastes just like the real thing and the texture is spot on. I loved the little pot you roasted your garlic in, I will have to look for something like that. Enjoyed this video and just hanging out with you both, love the puppies, they make me smile when I see them playing in the background while you are taping.

the best vegan mac and cheese i've had is called "mac and yease"! they used to sell it at the hot food bar in whole foods but i think they've pivoted to online sales, and i think it's sold in the refrigerated section in some whole foods. would def recommend!!! not dry at all!!!

I need a massage, desperately!😮‍💨 I used to LOVE beef jerky and beef sticks. The beyond jerky is the closest to real jerky I’ve tasted so far, especially the teriyaki flavor🤌🏾 It brought back so many memories, since jerky was the last meat product I consumed, four years ago.

I loooove your channel so much! I always put your vlogs on as I cook since it feels like I have (the best) company in the kitchen. I don't have resto suggestions for you, but, I've recently started pinning on google maps all the places I want to eat at in a private folder so that when I'm out and about and looking for a place, I can just open google maps and see all the flags (or hearts - you choose your icon) that are around me and choose based on that :)

I'm in Portland and a couple of our go-to vegan spots are: Sweet Hereafter (Buffalo subs = yum! Their mac and cheese can be pretty good too, depending on the cook that day), Harlow for the biscuits and gravy, DC Vegetarian for the war eagle sandwich, and Secret Pizza Society pepperoni pizzas (OMG so good!). East Glisan Pizza has lots of vegan options. This weekend we went to Smith Tea on NW 23rd and their menu is vegan. We had the Bahn Mi and turmeric noodles and they were tasty, though a little spendy.

I live in Minnesota so I'm a Minnesota United fan first but the Timbers are my second favorite team. The fans are soo nice and the stadium is beautiful. I've only been to one game so far but I can't wait to go back. Have a great time, I can't wait to see the vlog!!

Great video! I always write down the things you enjoy so I can try them too. :) My recommendation for a restaurant here in Portland is Enat Kitchen. If you haven't been there before, it's Ethiopian and my favorite thing to order is the veggie combo platter.

Unisoy has the best vegan jerky imo. They used to have it at Sprouts but mine doesn’t carry it anymore 🥺

If you go to ATL or Chicago, try original soul vegitarian. They have THE BEST vegan mac & cheese. You can't tell that it is vegan.

Vegan Mac n cheese at by Chloe in NY is amazing. I’m blanking but there’s at least two more that I’ve loved in NY but y’all are right I’ve had way more bad mac n cheese than good since I’ve been vegan. Not ok!

Have you tried Mirisata on SE Belmont yet? It's vegan Sri Lankan food and it is delicious! I also love Jade Rabbit (formerly known as Ichiza Kitchen). :)
