Five years ago we lost our mother on Christmas Morning and our father on Easter weekend. It is a deeply sad and difficult ordeal to get through but time has a way of lessening the pain. I remembered you both at intentions at Mass tonight. May God help you deal with your loss.

Chris, my sincere thoughts are with you and your family. It’s a sad time when one’s mum passes . The bond between you has been since birth. Words are hard to put together that will console you but you have family that will do that without the need for words. She is and always will be with you in your heart. Robert down under. Sorry about your mom. It's very painful watching a great family with great memories leaving us as time moves on. My Grandfather and Grandmother are gone. I've lost two Aunts and one Uncle. Two cousins are gone. My mother is hanging in at 94, but doesn't remember things well. The neighborhood my Grandparents lived and where we spent every Sunday and every Holiday has gone to hell. I wish it could be like it was, but life just keeps moving ahead without slowing down...
