The Condor is a great budget knife. Its tough and inexpensive enough that you dont have to worry about mucking it up.

You definitely don't need more than a Mora. Doesn't stop me from buying lots of knives though. Nice video buddy.

i'm not a huge knife fan, haven't got much use for them, so i just use an Opinel or a penknife. BUT i have ALWAYS wanted a Mora Light My Fire knife! very envious lol. nice review mate, that Condor is a beast! It's the Mora for me though.

The Condor is a brilliant bushcraft knife for the money but The Mora is a great all rounder for a great price!

I have a real esse 4, with a custom kydex sheath, lovely but I've battered the blade by using it to baton with a hammer rather than a piece if wood ;-( Rookie mistake... love the vid. Cheers, Lee

Hey Andy, look up Wolf and Dingo knives. The guy is a true artist based near Bodmin in Cornwall. The one I have is brilliant! Hand forged, the best knife in the world?

Hi Andy. Just discovered your channel and I'm making my way through your videos. I have a couple of Mora's. A carbon and a Kansbol. They're both fantastic knives, and very robust. Anyone that knocks a Mora doesn't know much about knives. Not sure if you're familiar with Schrade? They make some of the best mid price knives on the market, highly recommend them.

Hi Gord, Thanks for watching the vids, Mora are great, im thinking of getting a garberb at some point. I have a schrade folder actually now but I broke the liner lock by battening with it haha, other than that it seems like a really good knife... totally my fault doing something it wasn't designed to do though.

Kent Survival Hahaha yes the folders don't baton great. I've got a Schrade F36 full tang, and that thing will baton, chop trees down, carve, you name it. It keeps a brilliant edge too, all for about £40. I'd love a Garberg. My mate has one, its a beast.

the f36 looks great :) I gotta stop buying knives for now though I think haha... we'll see how that goes :p

With the exception of the Mora I honestly don’t think I’d buy let alone use any of these if you were to give me them for free, the quality on some of them looks really questionable. That being said I go by the old mantra of buy the best that you can afford, look after it and it will serve you well. Each to their own at the end of the day.

the cima knife you have how do you get to use it here in the uk because i have one but i dont know where i can use it and do you take it on dartmoor with you. PF
@KentSurvival
@KentSurvival 7 жыл бұрын
I don't really tend to take a knife on dartmoor with me (unless maybe if I'm specifically going to a woodland part. I haven't properly taken out the Cima to use yet but I take a knife out on wild and permission camps, I am taking it with me for a purpose, if it gets confiscated theres not a lot i can do but I think most coppers have common sense (not that they're roaming the woods looking for bushcrafters haha thanks for watching

Just because it says "Bushcraft" on it doesn't make it so. That non-locking Grizzly knife is no more suitable for bushcraft than a steak knife.
