I’m a Doctor at Camp Pendleton. Not the first time I’ve heard of service members helping people in accidents. Very proud of our military :) they really are heroes! And my boyfriend is a firefighter paramedic who runs calls like this all the time. So thankful you’re safe and for the people who help us in our time of need!!

Kinda random but service members are suppose to help those in need if we see them. Not everyone does it but it is part of wearing our uniform! We are here for the people❤️

Hello doctor, If you or anyone reading would be interested in donating funds to my fundraising campaign which is for the recovery of my soulmates near fatal car crash, I would really appreciate any dollar given! The matter is urgent, she needs treatment fast and we can’t initiate the process until we receive financial help. gofund.me/e4a86532

Wow Olivia, I was involved in a high speed accident too in 2018 where i was t-boned by a truck and i ended up breaking my pelvis and foot and had to get screws to fix my pelvis. i also stayed in the hospital but for 2 weeks and had to learn how to walk again. The surgery ended up affecting my labor in Dec 2019 and i had to get an emergency c section after 19 hours in natural labor. But look at us now! You're pregs again and I have a newborn! So crazy how life works. I am so proud of you and your recovery.

Girl! I just saw your video and it took me back to 2010. I had a horrible car accident that left me in a coma for two days, I was bleeding internally, suffered a punctured liver and So many other complications from that. I know how difficult it is to relive this entire experience every time I talk about it I also tear up and I love how you owned it, you did great! When I woke up from my coma I swore to never stress the little things ever again and life has been great ever sense. God is always in control and everything happens for a reason. Never stop sharing the story because You never know who you’re blessing with this overcoming experience.

Thank you for sharing Olivia. I am a paramedic (in Canada) and it’s when I hear stories like yours it makes me slow down and think of what my patients are really going through, what they’re experiencing (the white light and not coherent), and the aftermath of the call. My job is to pick people up, treat them to the best of my abilities and transport them to the closest appropriate hospital. I never seen those people again, I don’t know the final outcome, and I often don’t think about the long recovery road. I broke my ankle playing soccer this summer, no where near the extent of your injuries but I remember clearly the shock, the anger, and the overwhelming thoughts of how am I going to function at home?! I was out for 6 weeks and had a 3 month old son. I now think differently about how my patients are feeling emotionally and how I can support them as they enter into a long recovery process. I’m glad you’re alive.

Olivia, I am so overwhelmed by your story. I’m coming up on the 10 year anniversary of my own life changing car accident. I also nearly died and had a difficult recovery though minimal long term issues. It’s been on my mind lately since the anniversary is the end of this month and I am just so thankful. I don’t talk about it, much like you, but I’m planning on revisiting the story with my close friends and family. I met my husband the year after the accident and we now have a beautiful son. The accident was my fault and my life was a mess at the time so the year after was probably the worst year of my life, having to deal with who I’d become and where my life was. After I got through all of that I was able to come back to what mattered most; my faith, rebuilding relationships with my family, and finding my purpose for my future. I can say now that I’m glad the accident happened, I wouldn’t be who I am or have my family without it! Thank you for sharing, you brought me to tears and I’m so happy you’ve been given this beautiful life and such an a amazing perspective to share with the world!

I loved hearing your story. I really have envied how sweet you guys are to each other in your relationship and now I know how you both have grown so close and appreciative of each other. I know the feeling of PTSD from an accident. I was in a hit and run on the highway that caused me to spin out and when i stopped the driver that hit me was no where to be found. I thankfully had no injuries other than permanent fear when in certain car situations. I avoid highways and would rather take longer going on back roads. I get scared on 2 lane roads when people drive next to me. That is so good how fast you recovered and it is okay that it still effects you to talk and think about it.

This video has gotten me in such a deep reflection mode Olivia... Obviously everyone has different experiences that shape their lives but, to hear your story and see how you grew for it made me cry, reflect and redefine a lot of things in my life currently. We get so used to routines, that we end up taking things for granted and just not being able to live and contemplate each moment by being present. THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so courageous and taking the time to share this delicate phase of your life, that's part of who you are now. I follow you since a little before your first pregnancy & I'm currently almost 30weeks of my second baby boy pregnancy as well, so every time I hear you I feel as if your a close but far away friend that understands or tries to unserdtand all the phases of motherhood, even with all you've been through. Once again, I'm thankful to have found your KZfaq channel. Before I didn't watch that much KZfaq but now your videos have turned into my special time to learn, reflect and laugh. And know that the inperfections in our lifes are what make everything perfect and interesting. I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH🙏🤰🤱 Hope to be able to see your channel until you grow old haha MANY BLESSINGS & MANY HUGS FROM THE ISLAND OF PUERTO RICO❤ Att. Jessy

I can relate so much to your story. In January 2019 I was the victim of a head on collision. The other driver lost control and drifted across the road straight into me. It happened so fast and all I could do was brace for the impact. The Civic I was driving was totaled. I was 25 weeks pregnant with my second child at the time and after getting to the hospital was whisked away to have an emergency c-section. When I woke up from surgery my daughter was gone. I also had a broken ankle and had to wear a boot for 2 months. The police did not suspect drugs or alcohol so they didn't test the other driver for it. We will probably never know what caused him to lose control and hit me, and he was not charged with anything criminally. That is the hardest part for me. Car accidents are truly terrifying and PTSD is so real. I'm definitely jumpy in the car, especially on the highway and on long trips. I'm so glad you made a full recovery and are now able to share about your experience.

I’m so glad you have healed physically from your injuries. The emotional recovery will happen in time. I have been in several accidents, starting in childhood, and I will be in pain for the rest of my life. The driver will do something to get caught at some point, and karma is a strong presence. One of my accidents was caused by someone who also drove off and left me there. I’m proud of you for your growth! Prayers for your healing! ❤

You are so brave for sharing this! That is a lot to go thru, and I’m sure the mental battle and PTSD of it all was just as bad as the actual car accident. I really resonate when you said you really don’t know what tomorrow will bring. I lost my little brother last year in a fatal car accident. He was 25 and it BROKE me. We were very close, and I’m more at peace with it now... But I’m telling you, nothing really makes you realize that our time is not promised when you lose someone, or come close to a loss or death like you did. Thank you so much for sharing! Hi olivia. Ive been subscribed for a while. My baby and I were able to walk away from a drunk driving accident on December 29th 2019. I cried with you on this video. We were lucky enough to have no major injuries besides back pain and some bruises. I'm currently going through therapy for my back and literally cry every car ride because I'm so scared of drivers. I just cant understand how someone could be so selfish and have no respect for life. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Watching your video on how you see it now and how its helped you change is making me see my accident differently. I'm happy we survived. I'm happy my baby is alive. I'm happy we get to be in this new year. Life is short and you have to make the most of it everyday. Thank you for telling your story. Lots of love.

You are truly amazing. I started following you after your postpartum video (my daughter is a few months older than Christian, and I was feeling very similar). Since then, I have always admired your strength and realness. Keep getting it, girl! ❤️

Great video Olivia, I appreciate your honesty talking about these hard things, and I’m so glad you’re ok. It would be great to hear from your husband or Keturah’s point of view of the accident, although I’m sure it’s hard for them to talk about it.

I’m so glad you’re recovered and doing well. Car accidents are so scary! I was tboned by a lady who ran a red light texting and driving. I live in a no fault state which is sad. I was so scared to drive and cried even being a passenger for months. I didn’t break any bones just had a bad whiplash and a lot of bruises. The woman who hit me said “the good thing is that we didn’t die.” Yet that demon is the one who hit me driving recklessly. I can’t imagine the traumatizing event you went through. Sending you hugs!!

What a scary situation! Thank God for those marines that helped you. I can’t imagine how Jordan was feeling. My brother was in a really bad highway accident. He was actually getting on the highway and someone ran a red light going over 70mph. He was t boned on the driver’s side (Toyota Corolla) by a lifted truck. They had to use the jaws of life to get him out but he says he doesn’t even remember being hit. It’s interesting, it’s almost as if our Brains protect us from that trauma.
