The thing is, some parents did something wrong to their children and when their children grow up and move away, they try to keep the contact to a minimum. There are many great parents as well, but some children don't see why they should care for their parents and ignore calls or texts. I'm in a difficult situation with my mother, I never text her or call her, but when she does I always answer except she did something I need to process about. I don't really like her but I don't hate her, she's still somehow my mother. I also try to call my grandparents sometimes to check if they're well, same with my uncle because they live in my home country. To everyone who doesn't have a stable relationship with their parents, that's completely fine, it's your life and you choose who to stay with and who not to, just make sure your parents know that unlike in this video where the old lady didn't receive any calls anymore for no reason at all.
