Some Chinese parents may want to stay with their children for many years, but more Chinese parents only come to visit children once a while or when the working couple need help. My parents and the majority of Chinese parents they met in US are the latter ones. Those who have stable income after retirement would rather live in a place with many old friends.

@@joyceyang3538 I certainly hope so. However, when someone started to learn English at age 60+, plus not knowing how to drive, the burden will surely be laid on Mike unless his wife is fluent in English. Either way, it’s going to be tough
