I am 71, and have enjoyed this so much. When I was about 14, there was a lady coin dealer in Stroudsburg, Pa. I learned so much from her..I would always buy one or two Morgan's from her. This reminds me of those days so long ago!!

The ring on minute 21 of the video is called a signet ring. It is pretty old. The concave design on it is so it can be pressed on wax to letters so that no one opens them on the way. If the recipient find the wax seal broken which can be redone by the culprit, he would know that someone opened the leather or the package. Rich influential people had those custom-made to be their own signatures.

I didn't know about them till one of your recent videos and wanted a few so picked some up with my last visit to get some more silver. Yes! Buy what you can, when you can.

Hey Speg, did you see the news last weekend, a Dutch silver 25 cents from 1891 is sold on a auction for over a million Euro's? It was the highest bid on a Dutch coin ever. Only 2 were minted of them with the portait of the 10 year old young queen Whilhelmina. The other coin is in the Vault of the Dutch central bank. Does Mr. Guy knows something about this, could you ask him? Cheers and keep up the amazing vids.

The video on You Tube said 15 TO 20 (1863) $20 gold pieces. The guy who found them took his time and found the right Numistatic to grade. Sent them to PCGS and had certified. Worth Millions. Great watch

A great Video, I can remember when a Kruggerand cost £220 in the UK. Always a pleasure to tune in for the Great Man. I totally agree with everything the coin guy said, my parents do not understand what has happened to the world, they had a prosperous life and they did not have the issues younger people have to deal with today. Coin Guy is correct.

At about the 21 minute mark, I noticed among the jewelry pieces what appeared to be a US Navy Academy ring. I'm sure about Navy, just not sure about whether it was an academy ring. I graduated from the US Military Academy (West Point), and we have a committee that tries to find graduate's rings and reunite them (either with the owner or their family), based on each one having the graduate's name inscribed inside the ring. I'm pretty sure the US Naval Academy has a similar program, and would appreciate knowing who's ring this is if it is a US Naval Academy ring.

Why do we have no coinshops in the Netherlands anymore? I watch silver and gold videos everyday, but we have no shop where you can see coins, compare different years etc. We have to buy on a website.

Collecting coins as a hobby is one thing, but buying gold or silver coins or bars as an inflation hedge or survival tool needs to be thought through. This coin dealer makes the point at (11:30) explaining the $2,400 Krugerrand, "no one can afford it". When the sh__ its the fan, who's going to buy it from you or what can you buy with it? Are you going to accept cash in exchange or in change?

My go to when the price of PMs are going crazy, is numismatic coins. During an upswing in PMs have purchased Carson City's, Bust Dollar, 09s vdb, and recently a 21 d dime. Guy should definitely be in the top 100.

Just looking at this for the first time and he was very very interesting to hear and listen to regarding his coins. These shows make me more aware of the fakes out there in society. Also, with the rising value of gold it goes to show how if you have an ounce you may not be able to sell it for fiat currency.
