Great video. The books are absolutely beautiful. All hardbacks and some signed. Very nice.

The Vampire Lestat was an amazing read. How she describe when He first transform into a Vampire was just the most incredible realistic detailed horrific graphic description I have ever read in a Horror book. But, that being said, that the only book by her that I've ever read. I need to read a few more. Thanks for sharing -James

Thanks for the cool comment James. You got me wanting to read that badly...and looking forward to that scene. When I start reading Anne Rice again I'm gonna read all the Vampire ChronicaIs. I hope you and yours are doing well.

After I read Interview with the Vampire, I thought it would become a classic worthy to be on the shelf with HP Lovecraft and Poe. However, the movie with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt cheapened its reputation. She never should have given movie rights. I liked the Witching Hour but found the others to be less and less engaging. Now, I’ve got to put The Vampire Lestat on my TBR list! Stay fukkn awesome, your vids are super. Mike

Hey Mike. Thanks a lot dude. I can tell you're cool as hell. And actually Anne Rice hated Tom Cruise being cast as Lestat. I did like interview with a vampire, the book, she nailed the creepy atmosphere of old world New Orleans . And her daughter had passed away just before she started writing it so that may have had a lot to do with the little girl character and the vampires struggle with being dead inside vs immortality. Stay cool.

“Cool as hell!” LMFAO, I’m a 70 YO fart! And retired teacher. Things I like-books, classical music (I’m a fanatic), hiking, great conversations, fresh brewed coffee, shooting the shiz with buddies while having a beer, and cussing. If you ever want to buddy read a book, just let me know. I’ve got a couple of friends on KZfaq doing this. Mike

You might be 70 but you're no old fart. If we were neighbors we'd be hanging out for sure. I'll keep the buddy read in mind. And much respect to you. Being a retired teacher is like being former military. I'm a teacher too but with only 4 years under my belt. But those rascals have aged me 10 years!
