I gave up on SH Monsterarts after Hedorah, you can make your figure as pretty as you want but made your hip ball joints tiny and flimsy as well as connecting up into the body. The actual rigs behind these figures are often really bad.

Try to find the heisei releases for the best possible price.

I’ve got the Sh monsterarts MechaGodzilla 2021 and I actually really love it, amazing articulation and one of the reasons it has no waste articulation is the missile compartment in the chest, it’s only legitimate issue is the lack of paint and obviously the price if it’s over your toy budget, I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was after watching the reviews and seeing pictures of it online but having the physical item and watching a review or seeing pictures are pretty different

I agree with ur statement on Mechagodzilla 2021, at that point i would rather buy a bootleg it has the same amount of articulation and red glow it may not have die cast metal but who cares

Tbh the SHMA figures are a mixed bag, there are some outstanding figures like any of the Kiryus made yet there are also some very terrible figures like Ghidorah 2019
