I'm looking forward to getting this kit soon. I've always wanted a Kiryu figure, but the SH MonsterArts ones are always super expensive (found one listed at $600, for example). When I get this kit, it will be my second Aoshima model, the other one I have being the 1/48 Airwolf Bell 222.

How to spot a reviewer that wasn't alive for G1. "I guess accuracy wasn't a thing in the 80's." Transformers used Diaclone and Microman molds licensed from Takara and created a few years before Transformers was a thing. The animation models were loosely based on the toys. The original marvel comics were closer to the toys but look awful by modern comic standards.

For me, the plastic quality is pretty good

The plastic does feel like it can snap cause it's pretty thin in some spots especially the blue parts of the legs but trust brother, it is sturdy. It's a premium looking and feeling figure though so treat it as such if u do get it.

Y’all didn’t even bother giving them a new sculpt, or barely even changing it at all, kong in the trailers darker and has more fur on its back and the spikes for Godzilla’s dorsal fins are still terrible and yet it’s still gonna be over $100

I agree with ur statement on Mechagodzilla 2021, at that point i would rather buy a bootleg it has the same amount of articulation and red glow it may not have die cast metal but who cares
