Tractor , truck , walking , motorcycle, ease of small increment adjustment works very well with my spinal injuries whether carrying or everyday use. With pressure on lower spine. Now I’ve got to buy one you suggested so I can compare.

The ratcheting system is more there for you to be able to change size when you are getting in and out of the car for me, just a comfort thing. I really like nexbelt myself, nice and stiff, has lasted 3 years so far perfectly and has a fake leather and buckle that works well in the office.

Personally I like the ratcheting system. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but I’ve found that when I’m carrying a lot of traditional buckle belts are either too loose and I feel like my carry is hanging like a gunslinger in the 1800s or squeezing my hips. Either way it tends to cause some old hip and low back injuries I’ve had to get really upset. A lot of people say “carrying is inherently uncomfortable, suck it up” but I don’t know why you would if there’s a solution out there that can alleviate that discomfort. I have a kore leather belt with a buckle that looks pretty close to a traditional buckle I wear in the office all the time and no one has noticed the difference, or if they have they haven’t said anything. If there are other reasons besides preference you don’t think the ratchet is a good system please let me know.

My kore is nice. No I don't need the 1/4 inch adjustments but it sure is nice driving and when sitting for more then a few minutes. Im not saying they are number 1 but they are quality. 4 years of use everyday all use. And carrying tools like my hammer at work.

EDC belts are like BBQ. Millions of ways to do it, but you're the only one who can tell if it's right.

My fat ass has had my ratcheting belt with a dress buckle for 4+ years now. i went from 200 lbs to 272lbs and down to 236lbs as of yesterday i gained that weight after falling down a mountain nearly lost my life! I was wearing said belt with a 1911. That belt has been through hell 10 out of 10 recommend. I wear it every single day with a lead slinger every day.

The reason I would think that Mr. Overton wears the holy gloves continually is to continually show the public how terrible they are. Those things wear holes in them if you wear them only to check the mail.

Nah, I like the micro adjustments, different size pants/holsters, iwb/owb/non carry/sitting/driving (work). My favorites are kore and SOE edc low profile for the perfect fit no matter what I’m carrying/doing

Yea I wear my Kore as an active duty EOD guy and the adjustment helps with comfort when im gettin in and out of trucks. Also i like to tighten it when I add weight on the belt from my tools. People just need to get what works for them.

I'm on my 2nd belt since 99'. very thick leather, the first one hand made for me in Tijuana, when it started to break down a few years ago, I walked past a thousand belt racks till i found #2 last year to replace #1, another very thick leather, still not broken in yet with excellent vertical retention and keeps my iwb nice and comfy.. think I just found #3, thanks.

I like Tenicor's belt a lot, but I'll need to give one of these a try. They look pretty sick, and even if I don't like them for carry... As you say it looks like a normal belt so you can wear it for normal belt reasons and not look like a buffoon.

I’m in the market for a new belt, I wear nexbelt everyday. The buckle works nice but my first belt wore out in the first 6 months. The plastic stiffener broke. I contacted customer service and they gave me a link to buy a new one. So I’m looking for a different brand. I happened to have another Nexbelt and am now wearing that one which seems to be holding better. All that to say I hadn’t heard of Ciguera and will check them out.

I’m a steel core leather guy. My job isn’t a fan of CC so brass hardware and leather works best for me as a low visibility option. Plus I’m fat so nylon is really uncomfortable for daily wear.

Any belt that isn't Hunter Constantine or Agonic is completely doing it wrong. Both belts are light years ahead of CCW belts.

I love my emissary belt. It is the most comfortable, light duty / edc belt I have ever worn. However, I’m concerned about durability. The flange on the little brass inserts is not quite wide enough. The fabric is beginning to fray out from under the hole that I use. It’s very small and maybe nothing if it doesn’t get worse, but I’ve only been wearing it for a month. It’s so damn comfortable though, that even if it shits out, I’ll probably buy another one. Kore is garbage and you’re all wrong.

I really like my LIGER belts. They look like leather and have a nice buckle. SUPER stiff & have lasted me for years. I think the material is from conveyer belts? They’re a Maxpedition product so “meh” but it is an absolutely bomb proof product.

My waist doesn't change by inches BUT it does change a small amounts every damn day. I'm not proud of it, its just a fact so I have to wear a ratchet belt. It does the job best. Despite your opinion (yes you're entitled to it) Kore is prob the best in cat for ratcheting firearm belts. Thats my opinion.

These belts are stupid simple with virtually no failure prone parts or without screaming to Kens and Karen's that I'm carrying. Kore has a great idea but the buckles seem weak for guys who do guy stuff regularly.

Wow someone sounds butt hurt. This is gonna hurt your ears but here goes - Kore belts are superior to Segura belts I have both belts, just dont wear the segura no more. Kore is vertically stiff, as you recommend and way more adjustable and way more selection. Facts.

Maybe you aren't right about everything, stiff belts are horrible for the only correct way of carrying a gun (Appendix), and the ratchet system in modern belt are for adjusting when getting in and out of cars/trucks and for people who actually work not just sit around all day worrying if their brass hits the table. jk fatty love your content.

Sorry dude but tbh kore belts are just plain and simply better. I own 3 and 2 of them are about 4 years old. They beat the pants off belts holes or velcro belts like that Emissary you got. You couldnt pay me to trade with you.

This belt is easily the best and most comfortable EDC belt I have ever used. It's just a simple, slim and strong gun belt with no unnecessary 'tacticool' gimmick.
