Wetseal is along forever 21 pricing scale. That beading is done by machine. I have seen people do beading with machine thats why wetseal was able to sell it for cheap prices back then.

Yes! I had this shirt when I was a sophomore in high school and bought it at TJ Maxx for like 13 bucks for a party my friends and I threw! My mother always said everything comes back in style and I’m definitely watching 90’s/early 2000’s coming back.

I'm really not into fashion, but the 'vintage' part made my day. I'm 43. I already knew that I was on the path to geezerhood at 27 when I didn't know how to respond to being told my tattoo was 'sick.' I saw my childhood games being called 'retro' in 2015's Christmas season. My high school music is 'classic rock' now. Now, the clothes that were popular in my high school years into my early 20's are 'vintage.' This is awesome!

Well, Wet Seal was incorporated in 1990, so it's almost 40 years old. And if something is at least 20 years old and represents the styles and era of that time frame, it's considered vintage. That pink top was definitely pretty 90s looking (I'm 44, so I was there, lol!)

I still have some wet seal pants from 2010. That said, I got the cutest sandals from there at the same time, and they broke within a few months. I was so sad...they were ones that you would string tie up your legs.

My mom has one just like that one that I loved as a kid! I wonder if she still has it. It was black instead of pink and had a pretty beaded butterfly on the front. Now that I'm older it's not my style and definitely doesn't suit me but it was a very pretty piece.

I worked at WetSeal 06-08. There were several items in the $30-$60 price range. Many of their stores were split between a dressy outfits and then the other side was casual, lightly priced, and more simplistic styles and designs. &yes it's considered vintage! Some of those items can be up to 34 yrs old.

Fun finds, but I have never thought of embroidery being included as grunge. The embroidered pants would cost too much for someone who wore grunge clothing. It was really big with the trendy people that wore distressed clothing.

I gave away tons of Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, Body Central, Rocawear, Akademiks, and Jlo stuff to Goodwill and a local thrift store years ago. A lot of the urban wear was new with tags. I am crying about it now. My closet is mostly now Express, New York and Company and Naked Wardrobe. I am 38 years old.

My craziest thrift was finding black lulu sweats for $25 and black lulu shorts for $20!! It was at Plato’s closet, which is basically a consignment store that resells stuff ppl bring in for cheaper! 👻🫶🏻
