When I see Pillow Talk on people, it's usually such a pretty pink nude, but it isn't on me. Recently I realized that Urban Decay Rush is almost identical to my lips. Swatched with Pillow Talk makes the Pillow Talk look orange, which is my issue with so much makeup. The Rush far outlasts Pillow Talk, so hurray!

My ultimate favorites are CT Pillowtalk Medium, CT Supersize Me (a little pinker than Pillowtalk Medium), MbM Smokey Pink, Kokie iDusty Rose and Warm Nude, and Essence Just Perfect (2). For under $5, that Essence one is greet! I have Bronzelle, but I don’t reach for it much. I need to put it back in rotation!I loved this video! Thank you!

Om Amazon there's a brand called italia and omg their lip pencils are unlike any pencil I've used! So creamy but doesn't spread around! They are all so freaking good! Risa recommended, I bought, I absolutely love!!!!!

One of my fav videos and yes I can't believe you haven't done a lipliner one either😉 Honestly I've never seen one nor did I think it would be something I would find very helpful 🤩 I just grabbed a couple of Mario liners- in Angela and Smokey Pink (it looks similar to pillow talk🤔) and some of the ultra suede lipstick. Already on the hunt for a beautiful muted red for fall and winter 🤞🤞🤞 Again, great video thx !

I love Milani lip pencils, especially the neutrals Nude and Natural. I have never used a luxury lip liner, so it was interesting to hear why some of them are so special. Maybe I will give myself a Charlotte Tilbury for my birthday!

My favorite all time lipliner is Stone by Mac- it has a slight grey undertone. Also Iconic Nude- these two are always backed up 😌

Love this! I keep the pout plump looking full with strategic use of lipliner. One of my faves is to contour with makeup forever “forever walnut”. Also adore makeup forever aqua lip in 3c (hard to find now) and a Mac in “double time” - a unique liner I really enjoy. Thanks for the video

I love CT Pillow Talk medium, Pat McGrath Done Undone and Buff.

Sephora brand lipliners are absolutely amazing and they cost what some drugstore lipliners cost now! Thay have so many shades as well. Love them!

My favorite is MUFE Anywhere Caffeine. Its gorgeous perfect and definitely one to try. Will def stalk Mario now ❤️

I have the nyx liners u mentioned and the CT of course.

No matter how many I try, I always go back to Lancome in the shade Ideal. It's creamy, long lasting and perfect to pair with cool, warm or neutral tone lip colors.

I love Pat McGrath Suburbia! I have one at a home and one in my purse. It stays on a solid 12 hours!

NYX lipliner in Sandstorm has a similar vibe to CT Iconic Nude. NYX Peekaboo Neutral is an alternative to CT Pillowtalk.. but not a spot on. Some lipliners that I love are Christian Audette (LisaLisaD1’s collab) in Nude Sandals and Paradise Sueded Lipliner. I love love both. Maybelline Gone Greige is a good cool tone contour shading lip liner. I also love Maybelline Totally Toffee. L’Oréal lipliners in Mattes Its (110)and Matte-Stermind (112) are fabulous..

My go to neutral is CT Pillow Talk, literally the prettiest lip color I have ever seen and works with pretty much every lipstick and gloss I own. Would love to see a video on tips to keep your lip products from bleeding. My lipstick and gloss will not be stopped by my lip liner and feel like I spend all day fixing it with q-tips and reblending out my chin makeup.

My holy grail lip liner is Bobbi Brown in Ballet Pink. It's not a dupe for Pillow Talk but I think it's even better.

My favorite lipliner used to be Kevin Aucoin The Flesh Toned Lip Pencil in medium. They no longer make it but you’ve given me some good options to find something similar. Thanks Stephanie.

Hey Stephanie! Maybelline's clear lip liner is bomb! Works for the overlining trend without drawing attention to itself. I also use it for under my lower lashes when I want to use a powder eyeshadow as a liner. I also love NYX's Peekaboo Neutral and a more blue-toned mauve from Sephora (can't remember the shade name). I use the two colored liners to fill in the entire lips, then put a clear or colored balm with SPF on top. These three lip liners are all I need. Love the video!

I got a fantastic neutral lip liner in an IPSY bag a couple of months ago. The brand is Beauty for Real, and it’s their “D-Fine Lip Liner” in the shade Neutral. It’s my lip color exactly, which has been terrific for my no-makeup, makeup days, and it pairs so nicely with the Persona e-balm in Manifest that I bought because of you. 😊

I bought the LA girl lip pencil in sugar n spice and it’s so much like iconic nude! I reach for it more than my high end liners! If you haven’t tried their pencils you should!!!

If you haven’t you have to try the LA Girl lip pencil in sugar n spice it lasts almost all day and is so sooo close to iconic nude!

Hi Steph, my all time favorite is Pillow Talk. Its my go-to, don't have to think about lip when I'm in a hurry - which lately is most of the time!! I can't seem to find one though that I can just fill in my lips and go without a topper -- i get that annoying, unattractive line that we talk about. Love you and look forward to all your videos! xo

I love Iconic nude, NYX NUDE TRUFFLE is very similar... Also Natasha Denona liners are wonderful and dont budge!! Very difficult to find shades in her entire lip line but her formula is gorgeous especially lipsticks.. Love her liner in Dana and lipstick in Amarosa...

I'm an Essence and NYX girl myself. NYX natural is one of my faves.

I always go back to Clinique Chili and Figgy for neutral liners that work best for me.

I mainly use the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bourbon (brown nude) and Cramel Latte (a little pinker). I also have CT Iconic Nude and Nude Venus. PML Buff. It depends on what matches the lipstick. The best, in all honesty, is the Essence twist up. Creamy but lasts and lasts and sooo affordable! Only problem is that a lot of the colors are often out of stock.

I received a travel size CT lipliner in Pillow Talk. The color looks great on my lips until I smile...that shade brings out the yellow in my teeth.😒 I do still use it, but apply a lipstick over it that doesn't make my teeth dingy. 😬

Lancome Natural Mauve , Estee Lauder Double wear in Spice and Loreal Mattestermind have been lipliner favorites for years.

Great video! I have many of those same lip liners. I do use the Makeup by Mario and ABH liners the most. Another good Urban Decay neutral shade is Uptight. It's my #1 in UD. I have several Jaclyn Hill lip liners that I use a lot too. A drug store favorite of mine is Maybelline's Totally Toffee.

LA Girl’s Maple Glaze is gorgeous and a good alternative to CT Iconic Nude.

I love/need long wearing lip liners, the Lisa Eldridge and Christian Audette liners are excellent. Oddly enough, I went through my lip liners last Thursday, throwing out those that just didn't last. Rimmel, nyx and Guerlain went straight in the bin!! I hope you don't mind me asking, but you have a defined line on your top lip (I've never noticed it before). Loved this, my problem is as almost 70 my lipliner should be nearly opaque. Just something that keeps the lipstick inside the perimeter. Do you know of something like that? There was something a lipliner really waxy, buts its no more

Now that I’m older I have lip lines and I feel like I can’t wear gloss anymore. I just want a lipliner that will stay in place and won’t allow floss to spread. Do all these lip pencils do that?

Am I the only human who Pillow Talk looks orange on? And it barely shows up. I have similar skin tone to you but lean pinker. Dang- feel like I'm missing out! But thanks to you recommending Huda's liner, I found "Muted Pink"! Been searching forever for my perfect nude. Thank you!

I bought charolette tilbury pillow talk liner and I was so disappointed. Never again. I loved the color and formula but I could not sharpen it. Either the the color would break or the wood of the pencil would splinter every single time. I bought 3 different types of sharpeners and still the same outcome. I tried putting it in the freezer but that made the splintering worse. I had it for less than a month and it was so short from trying to sharpen it I couldn’t hold it correctly. It disappeared before my eyes it seemed lol. For the money, it’s a big pass. Unless they have the twist up type liner I’d recommend passing on her liners.

I guess I’m weird or was sick a lot as a child. I don’t see a brown or even brown-based lip liner as nude or natural for me. It means illness based on my experiences and is not an attractive look on me. Nude or natural means a close match to my lip color. A lip liner in an exact match to my skin color would be helpful in overlining my ever-shrinking lips.
