I’ve been absolutely impressed with LA girls gel waterproof lip liners!! And they’re 1.99!! Their nude colors r so good and they’re buildable and don’t get flakey like high end waterproof ones like Kat von D and makeup forever , blows me away that they perform better and are 2 dollars!! “My perfect nude” is perfection

Thank you Jodi. I need to try some of your recommendations. I have uneven lips and wear a liner to fill in the gaps and need something that wears all day. I’ve been using Essence Stay Lipliners and they are waterproof. It does last all day, but it’s good to have lots of options.

This was a great review! I loved listening to you! I’m not in your target age group yet but really love the way you talk. I just cannot stand all the immature talk by young creators, it’s exhausting, so it’s refreshing to listen to you. I wish more younger people would be more mature, but unfortunately it’s only going in the other direction 😅

I need to look through your other videos and see what’s there, but I am currently in a phase of learning more about how to accentuate the lips, so love all content around this, especially techniques for making lips appear larger since mine are very small. I feel like I have watched all the tutorials on youtube and have recently discovered lipliners for this purpose :) but if you have any techniques for that yourself, it would be amazing to see how you approach it!

I’m so happy to see you Jodi . Perfect timing because they discontinued my favourite lipliner which is nyx nude truffle. I have searched everywhere for it. Luckily I had back ups. I use high end on my skin but for lipliner and any pencil stuff that’s where I try to save TRY 😂 Anyways you showed us some beautiful options like you always do. Such amazing videos . Jodi, when looking for a red, how do I know which is warm toned and which is cool? I’ve always struggled with this! lol I look better in dark reds that have a blueish undertone vs a yellowish undertone, but I’ve no clue if that is cool or warm! Suggestions?

Hi Marjorie, because manufacturers vary in their colors here's a rule of thumb that has seemed to work for me. If it's bluetoned, it's more cool, yellow/orange is more warm. The Hot Red lipliner from NYX in this video is a really nice blueish toned red.

After watching your review of Wet n Wild Perfect Pout Gel Lip Liner, I immediately bought Red The Scene and Bare To Comment. What a disappointment. These have no staying power. I even let them sit on my wrist for five minutes. They wipe off immediately.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I haven't read anything about them changing their formula so I'm sad you had that experience with something I recommended. I still use mine because of how long it stays on. Have you tried NYX? MAC is also a long lasting lip liner, but it's more pencil formula than get.
